Really like the sisal rug under our dining table in the kitchen. Arrived with a small border fray and edges are not square. Sending back, but will order the same rug again, very pleased with the visual.

These rugs are great quality and feel amazing on your feet. We have 2 different ones in our home and get lots of compliments on them. The pattern is so pretty

This rug is functional for what I needed. It looks nice but it is definitely more of a mat than a rug. The texture is a firm and has a rubber bottom. The color is not true to the description. I would think ash would be dark gray. This is more of a forest green/gray.

I bought this rug in a 2x3 size to use in front our our interior garage door and it’s perfect for that purpose. It’s slightly darker than it appears online but it’s a nice neutral brown in a material that feels like it will stand up to wear and tear. This would also be a good option for a patio.

Even better than expected and at a great price. We had planned to use this rug for another location, but when we unrolled it, we decided to use it for our main entrance. This runner is both beautiful and rugged and makes for the ideal entrance floor covering. The dark tones means that it could be used on almost any surface.

Nice but not a good fit

This rug seems durable but the pattern was too aggressive for our dining room. We sent it back and purchased a wool and sisal rug instead. I think this would look better in a larger room with fewer competing pieces.

This is a great rug! Very happy with the quality and they color, which is unique compared to other sisal rugs I've had in the past. Pattern is very nice and minimalist. Would highly recommend!

I have had this runner for about 8 months now and it still looks good. In my opinion, that is a very long time for a kitchen rug to hold up so well. It is Sisal so it is a little rough underfoot, not uncomfortable though. I ordered the silver reading that is was not really silver. It is more on the dark bronze side. It is really good quality and I believe it will last for years.

Pretty satisfied

I was hoping the color was a lighter version of the grey since the description said silver but in real life it was more brown. Disappointing but seems durable and thick and best of all it doesn't slide on the tile. It is a bit scratchy but not too bad. The pattern is beautiful. Overall pretty satisfied.

Just what I was looking for!

The color is 100% as pictured (been having trouble getting the color on the image to match my purchases lately). I've been on the search for a jute/natural/sisal rug for the past few months and couldn't decide on any of them (poor reviews, sizing difference, too expensive, too cheap, etc). I was going to go with a cheaper option until I came across this beauty. It has a border around it to help outline the dimensions of the rug, and I love the detailing on this rug. It also feels great under my feet, and there's a silicone backing under the rug so there is no slipping (did not buy a rug pad). If you're on the fence about this one, go for it! Definitely feels luxurious and I'm overall very happy with this purchase, I feel like this will last me a very long time and is worth my investment.

My mistake.

I. Originally wrote a less than stellar review for these rugs my best compliment was for speed of delivery and well packaged. I was trying to decide to send back (cost was prohibitive) I finally decided to roll the larger rug all the way out and to my surprise!.. not as bad as I thought and my husband likes it! Yhe rug was for my living room but ended up in my husband's club room and it actually adds to the "club-e-ness" of the room.. unlike the picture , the pattern is more raised and much larger, the texture is course to walk on feels like something for outdoor use. I am changing my review because it all worked out in the end.This is my first overall I am a satisfied customer.

Beautiful, stylish rug!

I was looking for a rug to replace a piece of cut carpet in our breakfast room. I first ordered a 2x3 in Desert Sand to check the color due to the many reviews saying that the actual color doesn't match the picture. I would definitely agree that the picture online looks lighter and more tan. I reality, the color is more goldish, brownish, tan. I have attached pictures that hopefully better shows the actual color of the Desert Sand. For us, it was perfect being more gold in color. I then ordered a 9x6 and it is a great fit! The detail of this rug is very pretty as well. Couldn't be happier with it!

Attractive, quality rug

The Safavids Palm Beach Cissy Modern Sisal rug we ordered arrived today and we are very happy with it. The quality is very good and we particularly like the way the edges on the rug are finished. A lot of Sisal rugs have very irregular edges but this rug has nice finished edges that are even and straight allowing it to lie nicely on the floor. We were looking for a rug with a rich, natural, golden color and this rug delivers. As the rug is pictured, it also has a visually interesting pattern that adds a nice texture to the room.

Beautiful design, dimension and texture

Love love the design, dimention, feel, texture and movement in this Ash color area rug. Purchased 2x3 and 3x5 for the entry to knock off dirt and dust (it isn't absorbent). The rubber backing prevents slipping or movement on the floor. I have these in high traffic areas and after a week the 2x3 stitching along the edge started to come loose but an online chat to customer service had a Return Auth and replacement on order in a matter of minutes. So be sure to NOT cut the plastic bags the long way (as noted in big letters on the bag) in the event you need to return. This rug is thick (without a plush give) and the ends are turned over a couple inches so make sure you have door clearance. (I'll need to adjust one door sweep.) I would definitely recommend this rug!

Rodent Vibes

Oh man, not a fan. The color was off, as others have mentioned. There were some stray threads on mine. In real life, the runner gave me hairy rodent vibes. I try to buy natural fiber and/or sustainable products when possible, but this was not a win. At least the Overstock return process was easy.

I bought this rug some time back and finally got it into the room. I LOVE it ... tempted to buy another one just like it, as we go through a lot of rugs around here. I believe the size I got was 8x11 size, which looks longer in the picture than it actually is (camera distortion). I believe the color looks about right in my picture. It's darker than it appears in the Overstock photo (on my screen, anyway). It's a beautiful neutral that would work well in many rooms. What's REALLY nice is they rolled it right side out, so no curled edges. In the picture, it's only been down one night, and there's no rolled edges in sight. It's got some weight to it, which is nice. No odors when we unwrapped the rug (and none associated with the rug pad we ordered from Overstock either).

This was perfect for my tiled bathroom as it has a skid-proof backing. I reinforced it underneath the corners with carpet tape so it doesn't budge at all. It appears to be made of natural fiber, as described. The color is solid ash gray (you can google the different types of gray for comparison). It's soft to walk on and you can't feel the floor when you step on it even without padding. My photo shows it in a lighter shade, but the actual rug is a darker hue, but not charcoal gray. I'd buy this again in a larger size. The weave design is really nice and it's closely woven. Shipping and packing are all AOK.

I love our Sisal which by the way arrived in 2 days beautifully packaged. The color is as I expected. The workmanship beyond what I expected. The price was the best since I searched the Internet before making my purchase at Overstock. I would definitely recommend this rug for any room. I am using it in my dining room. I would also recommend Overstock for consideration before you make a final purchase any where else. Thank you! JoAnne

This rug laid perfectly from day one...not like some others I have ordered that take awhile for the creases to flatten. Definitely shades of yellow with the tan color, which does not show up so much in my picture but it works in my home office. Somewhat of an odor the first few days but not anything overwhelming. This may be due to the rubber backing. Plus on the rubber backing is no mat needed. I have had the rug less than one week but so far, no problems with my desk chair with wheels on the rug. Love the pattern.

We needed an entryway rug to go right next to a patterned living room rug. The 3'x5' size was needed to give entering guests enough of a landing area. Decided to go with a natural fiber rug, rather than trying to find something to match in color-wise. We went with sisal as it is more durable and a bit less casual than jute. The color and the pattern work perfectly with the living room rug without distracting or clashing, but without being too neutral/blah. The fiber appears super durable. The color is a very pleasant natural taupe. There is a rubber backing that keeps it from slipping excessively, though I occasionally have to re-align it slightly from the traffic it gets. Note that the ends are folded over, making a double thickness of about a scant 11/16". Our front door clears 3/4" so this is not a problem for us, but might be for others. Highly recommend this rug.
