Big timesaver
very light, small enough to fit between the joists, works great
Easy to use. Accurate and lightweight. Durable enough to withstand heavy use. On occasion the nail head holds back making placement of tip challenging. Overall excellent tool.
Dewalt DWMC150 nail gun
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago, using Simpson strong tie 33 degree and works great so far, about 500 through it and more to go, so far no regrets
Does the job well. The instructions, like with all of my DeWalt tools, are wordy and the text too small, could use more diagrams, less verbosity. But overall a great tool.
#MarterBell purchased this Dewalt gun to speed up joist hanger installation... It performs great..
what a great choice. I had several 2x10 joist hangers to bang on in a tight crawl space. I loaded this thing up and took some extra strips of nail into the space. I couldn't believe how fast I was finished.
The hardware person in the Hamilton store A wonderful experienced. How do I person Who help me with the order before I run into her, I was trying to buy the nail gun for a month and your help. Didn’t understand anything about anything until I ran to into her. Her grade, From one to five is at six not at five thank her for me, John Yfantis
Flawed Design
Both DeWalt and Bostitch are apparently made in the same Chinese factory using the same blueprints. While operation is fine, air intake collar is wafer thin. I overtightened the hose adapter and the housing cracked. Then I looked at other brands I have and they all have very beefy collars. If one cracks it, an entire project is immediately jeopardized. Ordered Metabo.
Leaked air right out of box
Installed new quick release stud with a 6" long open ended wrench and it never got tight. No way that I over tightened it. QR stud receiver was cracked.
Timesaver
This specialty nailer is ideal for nailer any type of structural hardware such as joist hangers and rafter ties. Saves a ton of time and ergomically much better than having to nail all the fasteners in place.
Accurate!
Nail head is sticks out far enough to place into the hole! No need to aim. This means total accuracy and less chance of a skip out. I just returned the new metabo which is bigger and felt good. Going back to Dewalt for the accuracy.

Was hard to load nails into it. And was kind of picky. Ended up returning it and buying a metabo

My first one blew a seal but I loved how well it worked before that happened. I tried a few other brands, but came back to this DeWalt. It fires consistently well and has a smooth safety. Small nail capacity but easy to handle. Really like it.
Great tool for joist hangers. Worked great no jams and easy to handle.

Air inlet is EASILY broken -Goodbye $220!
Worked Good for a couple small jobs. (Deck and addition) Was never abused or dropped and I was atually really starting to like it. -So much so, that I decided to change out the quick connect to an industrial swivel for better hose management. Using a short handled wrench, the new coupler (definitely not cross threaded) never reached a point where it felt like it was starting to tighten up... Instead, the cheap, cast aluminum just split! Now I'm left with a totally worthless tool. GOODBYE $220!

This is an amazing tool!! I should have gotten it sooner! It is a solid tool and doesn't jam. Seems to work best at around 100 psi. It has made attaching all of those hurricane ties a breeze and in 20% of the time ... or less!!! I just wish that DeWalt sold the nails in a bigger box. I went through so many boxes in a flash. I would recommend this tool to anyone.

I’m not necessarily what you would consider a DeWalt fan, but this tool is fantastic. I looked at other. Brands but chose DeWalt for quality, reputation, and price. I’m semi retired and haven’t purchased many tools recently so I went with DeWalt. I would recommend this tool over the other 2 mfgs
Great Tool
If I had this 10 years ago, I'd be 5 years younger. This is hands down the best tool I've bought in ages. Simple and easy to use, handles well in tight spaces. Outperforms 5 men with a hammer, and three men with palm nailers. Get one, it will pay for itself.
cuts time in half
This gun is super fast at nailing hagers, after just a couple jobs it already paid for itself. No brainer to own this gun if you do alot of hangers. Ive owned it for about 6 months and its worked great

I have a couple big projects using a lot of Simpson Strong Tie connectors and decided it was time to get one of these. It is well worth the price saving me from hand hammering thousands of connector nails. This fits in tight places as noted. The only con I would give it is that it doesn't come with an Allen wrench for disassembly to remove a jammed nail. A minor point since you probably have the wrench if you are buying one of these, but that sends me back to my shop to find the tool rather than having one on hand in the case.
