This is a sleek towel bar. I hung it on a door, as it’s shorter than an average towel bar, it holds one beach sized towel folded over perfectly. Happy with the purchase.

Easy to install and great looking towel rack for the price. The gold color is a little warmer (slightly coppery) than some other brands but really like the look.

I was looking for a replacement towel bar for one previously installed of unknown manufacturer in a home I purchased. It was pitting pretty bad and beyond hope of polishing. So, I bought a couple different options off of Home Essentials Direct and this was the nicer of the three (and also the most expensive). However Im on the fence with this one. Just because something is heavy and looks good on first glance doesnt mean it will withstand the test of time. My primary concern is that the bar isnt welded / sealed to the handles and this will result in premature pitting and rust. After all, rust begins from the INSIDE not from the outside. Moisture that can get into the interior of the bar will eventually begin the corrosion process. After that happens its game over and your back at Home Essentials Direct looking for a replacement. I dont mind paying a bit more for something I know will last, so while this is an attractive option based on some of the competition I looked at, this particular construction flaw seems to be a deal breaker. However, I wont keep this long enough to find out how long this will last, so I wont be able to say definitively. If its worth the risk to you, go ahead. I will likely return this and look for something a bit more sturdy. Ill update the review when I make some progress. For those trying to retrofit and avoid drilling new holes in tiles for example, Ill include a photo of the precise dimensions which were included on a sheet in the box.

Simple elegance

Love the bathroom hardware. Though I made my husband put it up he did not seem to have a problem. Bought towel racks, toilet tissue holders and a towel rack for the big shower. They all look fantastic, elegant and clean lines.

I purchased this as part of a total master bath remodel. I am exceedingly pleased with this and the other Symmons items that I ordered. The quality is unsurpassed. Too, the service from Wayfair was beyond my expectations. I would recommend the both the product line and Wayfair to anyone looking for quality products from a first rate distributor.

Not flimsy. Very nicely made towel bars which can be easily customized to any length you need. See my pics. Step 1: Remove the Philips head screw on the wall plate. Step 2: Remove the wall plate from the end bracket tube. Step 3: Loosen the 3 mm socket bolt located down inside the end bracket tube. Step 4: Cut the towel rod to your desired length. I used a standard plumbing tubing cutter. Step 5: Reassemble and hang on the wall! (These also come in an 18" size if you need something less than 18".)

Very nice looking bar and looks to be good quality. Had to take off a star because the wall anchors are not sufficient for this application. They provided two types but both were junk. I ended up using one of my own butterfly anchor on each side.
