Not as expected

The "moss green" is muted and not attractive. Design-wise, the press feels high-end, but too focused on being fancy over user-friendly. Pressing down the filter is surprisingly challenging, even for someone strong, and the metal-on-metal scratching noise is annoying. The coffee comes out smooth and balanced, but almost too refined — I enjoy some natural microgrounds in my press coffee. I bought this because there's no plastic parts, but I’d prefer if it was more user-friendly with a richer green

Beautiful; not very functional

Doesn’t really keep the coffee hot; just warm. It is beautiful, however, so we’re keeping it. Gorgeous color and beautiful form.

French Press

I recently bought this french press to make coffee as my previous Kitchen aid steel french press wore out. I really like this one. It's sleek and keeps my coffee hot enough between cups. It's simple to clean and the ergonomic handle makes it easy to hold and pour. The only thing I am not fond of is the metal against metal when you plunge it. My other press had a rubber edge. I guess it takes some getting used to!

Works Perfectly

This works just as advertised! It keeps the coffee hot, with minimal grounds "escaping" into the brewed coffee when the press is pushed to the bottom. The coffee maker is also so pretty, it sits out all the time!

Beautiful and Makes Great Coffee

This french press feels solidly made, and it is beautiful. I got the Terra Cotta color which is a little more neutral than I had intended, but it's really grown on me and I just love it. Makes wonderful coffee too.

Strong black press coffee

Perfect!

This was a perfect replacement for our Frieling French press cross plate that got cross threaded by another press (bodum) with a different thread pattern getting used erroneously. Worked great, fast shipping, fair pricing. I bought 4 just to have back ups because they're hard to find! This website was particularly helpful in determining the correct size (not listed on press, original order was in 'cups' but product was based on ounces). They showed measurements to be sure you got the right product (height/diameter). Thanks!
