Dimplex 23-Standard Electric Fireplace Log Set
After 10 minutes of operation, it started to squeak. The noise seemed to reduce after several weeks. The unit should be tested prior to leaving the factory to avoid this from happening. The flame is quite nice.

The fireplace was advertised as having heat and a blower, this one has neither one. The flame is beautiful but it’s cool to the touch. If it has a fan we haven’t found it.

The wood looks real as well as the fire and the heater works very nice! I didn't have a manual to replace the light but this web page has the download for you to read and it helped simple instructions.

Light weight pop in electric insert. Have an old house in Maine and the winters are brutal. Needed this for some auxiliary heat.

needed a replacement for the dimplex caprice.
I like the replacement insert. Its very warm. I would say it blows more hot air than my original Dimplex Caprice heater. Keep in mind its not an exact replacement. I had to modify the frame from the old one so this will fit properly. Other than that, i like it a lot.
Love it. The ambience is awesome ❤️
