Received our fireplace and it’s missing 3 of the logs and the remote and unfortunately we didn’t open it to check for parts within the 30 days. We opened it on the 32nd day and now we cannot ask wayfair to ship the missing parts per their policy. The fireplace also does not stay on. It goes off and if we wiggle the connectors ever so slightly, it comes back on but then goes off again. Do not buy this product. We paid just under $500 for it and it’s not a good product.

This log set is exactly as described. It looks great and the heat is comforting. I wish it had a stronger heater but I'm happy that I replaced my gas logs.

Get logs, give off a good bit of heat and look very nice in the fireplace. When assembling the set, I’d go by the picture as the instructions don’t really say which log is which.

We love our new Dimplex electric fireplace ! It took weeks of searching and we are glad we landed on this one. It looks very realistic! The only reason we rated 4 stars is because the heater option only works on 30 minute intervals and the entire unit shuts off not just the heater. So we have only been able to use the light feature without the remote. Seems like on the remote option it shuts off after 30 mins ?! So , other than that, it’s perfect. Hoping it is a user error but so far the timer feature only works 30 mins even though the remote says hours.

I LOVE this electric fireplace log set! It was fairly easy to set up and looks SO real!! It is exactly what I wanted - to convert my real log burning fireplace to an electronic one that I can turn on and off with the remote! No mess. No cleaning. No worry about rust holes in my flu. It’s a very nice quality set! I highly recommend this electric fireplace set!

I love these in my fireplace! They look real, they are beautiful and easy to assemble. They are so pretty, my brother bought them after seeing mine

Fireplace log kit

Looks lovely online but is actually extremely small. Looks like something for a child to play with. Dimplex at 700 should be ashamed. Company delivered extremely fast, but seemed to look for things to reject a refund. Pitiful in all. Returned as demanded in their box, and ok when sent but light not attached and bent prong on cord which anyone could fix with a pair of pliers. All in all, extremely dis-satisfied!!!!

A Great Alternative

We considered a gas conversion of our wood burning fireplace, but it would cost thousands. Fortunately, we discovered Dimplex fire logs. They are so realistic- the perfect solution to our problem. Highly recommended. I would offer two installation tips- 1. Use a photo of the logs to place them (the instruction book is useless), 2. Buy larger strips of Velcro to secure the logs in place and 3. Buy the $35 crackler for great sound affects. Also, it would be helpful if the LED connectors were color coded to make it easier to get the right connection orientation.

Looks nice, but…

The photos in the manual don't match the logs in the set, so you have to guess where they should go and the velcro doesn't line up well. The logs look pretty good. Coal bed does not. I added some loose coals from a gas log and that helped a lot. Flames look ok. I bought this primarily for supplemental heat in a 3 season porch. I have a freestanding 1500 watt heater that throws a lot more heat than this 1500w heater. I'm not sure why. It might be ok for a smaller room. It looks nicer than many other electric logs, but in the end, it's just ""fine"". Not ""good"" or ""great"".

Beautiful Addition To Fireplace

Set up is challenging but once done it looks attractive and extra heat is nice. Quiet even when the heater runs. Fills my 30+"" wide fireplace opening and doesn't look skimpy. I'd buy it again!

Not the quality one would expect

Nice appearance. Good supplemental heat. The motor that turns to create the flicker sometimes freezes and stops. Assembly was difficult as the logs are not clearly labeled and the stick ons for placement were not properly located. Poor value for the price.

I purchased 1 set...to try...set it up...very pleased so ordered 3 more... I also ordered accessories to compliment each set...lava rock, ash rock, pine cones, acorns, and extra burnt wood logs ...to fill in the gaps of the fireplace floor....also painted the wiring my electrician had run...from stainless silver look to black. Would love some more ash ...decorative ash to add for accent...but unable to find a source for single ash without having to buy other accent pieces in the kit...the accent pieces really add to the total look of all 4 fireplaces.VERY PLEASED

I would not buy this product again

We bought this to put in our family room fireplace. We were shocked when we saw the material it was made from and that it was so small. It was difficult to put together, the instructions weren't much help. We just couldn't justify keeping the product for SO much money and were happy they had a 30 day return policy. But BEWARE, what I didn't realize was that this inferior product cost me $100 to return. We ended up buying a full electric fireplace insert for $250 less and it is so much more authentic. Wouldn't buy this product again and wouldn't recommend it. Especially the ""return"" policy that charges the customer for a poor product.
