I bought this chair to use in my sewing room. It is perfect for what I need. It is very well made and is very comfortable. It suits my needs perfectly!

Quality is good......Assembly a little challenging

The seats are a good quality. The instructions stink if you are buying the drafting STOOL. All the directions are for the office desk version. They send you to their website where they just show you the limited instructions enclosed in the box. It took two of us to brain storm it out, but we did it.

Perfect for working in the kitchen!

I shopped online a lot and this stool was reasonably priced compared to others, and has nice looking fabric too. It is very sturdy and comfortable; gives good back support and the lowest setting is just right for working at the kitchen counter. I can put one foot on the floor and the other on the foot ring for balance, and I can roll from one side to the other by pushing off a little. I can even load the dishwasher sitting down, which helps my back a lot. I tried the shorter version of this, with no foot ring, and it wasn't quite high enough for reaching the counter. It was very easy to return which I appreciate. You do have to be careful about leaning forward without balancing yourself, which can make the chair fall or scoot backward - I experimented to figure out what to avoid. It works great for me!

Four inches shorter than advertised

The seat height is advertised at 33 inches when fully extended. I am under 200 pounds, well under the weight capacity of this chair, and when I first sat in the chair it compressed about two inches. That was OK with me, because I was looking for a chair with a 31-inch seat. But in the month since I started using it, the maximum height has shortened to 31 inches when the seat is empty, and 29 inches when I am sitting in it. I am disappointed. I specifically bought this chair because it should have been tall enough to keep my head at the same height whether I was standing or sitting. Now it is impossible to keep my standing desk at a height that is ideal for both standing and sitting.

Nice chair but lacking assembly instructions.

This comfortable chair adjusts to the in-between height I wanted. I found that the diameter of the foot rail ring seems too small to comfortably rest my feet at the seat height I need, so I may take a hack saw and cut it off. You can't just eliminate the piece because the inner ring is an integral support for the seat. The instructions are just about useless. Good thing I have assembled things like this before because it was pretty much a guessing game. They don't mention anywhere that you need a screwdriver and possibly a rubber mallet to attach the seat bracket and back, so I had to make a trip out to the garage to fasten it all together. Only small criticisms, however... BTW, this chair is rated for up to 275 pounds.

Just what I wanted.

Nice stool/chair. I just wish they had the correct instructions with it. I've put a lot of things together at different times, so it wasn't too bad, but I wasn't sure about the ring at the bottom. It all worked out in the end and it is really sturdy and comfortable...PS. I did find the appropriate instructions on the maker's website.

Pros 1. Only 4 large standard screw bolts with no special alan wrenches. Cons The description said this was assembled - but you have to do assembly and the instructions can be confusing. The high height on even the lowest level might be a deal breaker (although I liked it)

Good chair that is easy to assemble and pretty comfortable. I've had it for over a month and it is solid and strong. It's good for posture and because there are no arms it means I can sit as close to my desk as I need to be ergonomic and avoid the carpal tunnel pains. I paired this chair with the Husky adjustable work table and it is perfect for a home office!

The chair is very sturdy, but it doesn't adjust low enough. A person has to sit too close to the front edge in order to have your feet touch the floor. So, this makes the full seat of the chair practically useless if you aren't a very tall person. it's also inclined to make your back hurt if you are sitting in this way for extended periods of time. I would recommend the chair under the conditions that you don't need to sit in it for sustained periods of time and if you are taller person. I'm 5-11 and that doesn't appear to be tall enough. When I sit fully on the seat my feet are on the ring that surrounds the chair, but it's not possible to put my feet on the floor.

Solid chair. Worth the $$$. Its tall. Some reviews mentioned that the height was too much, but its a drafting chair, its supposed to be tall. I use it about 6-7 hours a day. It rolls nice. I'm 6-1, 180 pounds and its about perfect. I just ordered a second one.

I like the height adjustment, how comfortable it is and how easily it rolls. I use this in the kitchen when I'm cooking so I can sit down and cut up ingredients without my back hurting. I can also get it to the perfect height for what I'm doing and I can roll around the kitchen. Love it. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend or anybody.

This chair comes with parts that are probably generic to other models. The instructions for assembly are vague at best. Some of the parts enclosed cannot be used with this exact chair. If you were to assembly it with all the parts (like I did), the chair (in its lowest position) is much too high. The footrest (if assembled according to the installed information) sits above a foot from the floor!! I tried every conceivable combination of parts to get the end result I was looking for but to no avail. I wound up throwing the footrest in the garbage (useless) as well as a few other parts that do no coordinate with this chair. I'm using the chair as I assembled it.without the footrest and other parts that are not needed. It was easier keeping the chair rather than going through the hassle of returning it. Very disappointed.

Great chair for the orice

Pkging for this chair came in good condition. Chair was easy to assemble. Seat slides easily up and down. Padding is comfortable. The back wiggles some, and I don't know if that's an adjustment issue or if it just does that. This is my second purchase of this style and price of chair. No better buy for a comfortable drafting chair, I think.

So, just about 10 years ago I bought a burgundy drafting stool/chair from Overstock. It wasn't very expensive, maybe $$; and it wasn't very fancy, really just and office chair with an extension; but it was comfortable and met my needs at the time.,
