What's the one thing that set me back?
The Dream Line Flex 3-Piece Corner Shower Kit is a good one. However, maybe it's just me but I find the instructions confusing. I had to go back and forth from page to page to connect all the dots together and still miss something.
Good Looking Quality Shower
I was replacing a corner shower in a small bathroom. The old shower was uncomfortably small, but the location of the bathroom door limited its size. This shower was perfect for the location - and it's the maximum size that will fit in that corner.
Pivot hinge leaks
Shower leaks at pivot hinge. There does not appear to be any gasket to prevent leaking. Top hinge is loose and there is not a screw so tightening is minimal at best.
Excellent Shower Kit
I was building a bathroom in my basement and wanted a full shower kit to install a corner shower. This kit includes the base, walls, and glass doors. Quality material and easy instructions to follow! My order was missing a box of parts. I called DreamLine up and there was no hassle. They got the missing the parts in the mail immediately and were just outstanding to work with. If this is what your looking for, then make the purchase. You will not be disappointed.
Nice shower, bigger than it looks. The door has a little shake and rattles when opening because of the suction of the magnet that pulls it shut. Overall nice however

The glass and frame assemblies are of nice quality, but I don’t like the cheap feel and appearance of the plastic walls. For what the unit costs you would think they could include nicer walls. If I could do it again I would tile the walls and throw out the cheap plastic walls.
Chose tiles instead
Unless you have a substantial amount of experience installing shower stalls, this system is not manageable. The instructions do not match the physical pieces and if you do follow the instructions, the rubber gasket on the bottom of the door will be destroyed after two or three uses. I cannot recommend this unit and am assigning two stars because once it is up, it looks reasonably good.

This stall takes days of attention to detail to assemble it properly. I'm an engineer so I felt I had the ability to complete this project successfully. It looks good but here's what I want to convey: make sure you buy an adhesive that is designed to bond the walls. The first adhesive would not stick to the panels and I had to scrape it off and try a different product. Ask the manufacturer specifically what they recommend. Another consideration: think twice before you install the glass shelves. Drilling into these panels and risking leakage was not something I was willing to do. We bought a stainless shower caddy instead and am happy we did. Another thought: if your shower head is opposite the door opening, consider a rain head that directs water straight down or you'll have water shooting out the open door. Once assembled the unit looks beautiful. The glass surround is high quality and sturdy and the walls look like tile. If you're not handy, consider having this unit installed by a professional.
[Rewarded Review] Nice shower but it leaks
This shower is very nice to look at but has issues. First off don’t make the mistake I did and let it sit for a month before installing. When I finally opened it the plastic walls were cracked and they wouldn’t replace them because it was too long after the purchase that I realized it was cracked. And also after installation the shower leaks where the door closes and there is no way to fix this I have to put a towel on the floor every time I take a shower

It looks surprisingly nice. The door feels solid, fits the space well. We had professional installers and they did have some trouble because it’s an old house where the walls aren’t flat or the floor level, but all in all the job went smoothly.

The picture shown here shown a very symmetrical shower - the pattern is nicely centered over the shower base to give a very nice look. In reality, the panel that they send for the 36" shower is THE SAME (verified by Dreamline) panel that they use in their 32" shower kit. For the 36" shower, the pattern started about 2" from the inside corner and ended at the 24" mark - which made the panel pattern 10" off center. I contated, as both the Home Depot and their website showed nice, symmetrical looks (we even counted the diamons pattern - these have 4, the one we received only had 3 across) and basically they told us we were out of luck. Ripped up and planned a bathroom , starting with this shower and we are back to square one, as for this price, a shower should look nice, not absolutely off center. You should be okay ordering their smaller shower kits, as it shouldn't be too off center, but at the 36" kit size, it looks absolutely atrocious.
corner unit with glass feels open, not closed in.
I have had this installed now for a few weeks. I love the look, The 36" x 36" is fine. (I am a large person and had some concerns about feeling cramped) for space. I hope it all holds up well over time. But for sure right now, I am happy with it.
Shower Kit
This is being sold as a kit in four pieces but the first step is that one must trim the shower wall. This requires a bit of force and I found it impossible to achieve a clean edge. Then there are two wall mount profiles but one needs to be thrown out. If by mistake you use both, the positioning of the glass panels is off and new holes must be drilled. Then there are instructions to drill through existing holes in the frame but there are no holes. The product looks very nice when finished but to get there can be a troublesome path
Beautiful in your small space
Bought this for a reno project of a small bathroom. The modern design and clean features made this a great choice. My husband and father did the install and were able to follow the instructions without too much difficulty. The tile-look detail resembles real tile. The doors are solid. I did need to purchase a separate shower kickback for about $7.00 for under the door to hold back some splashing.
