Big Mistake!

I have had nothing but trouble out of this rascal; at first it would only run on low (it would shut off). Finally the low wouldn’t run and light showing it was plugged in even quit! Now, it does absolutely nothing! I bought extended warranty but I don’t know if it’s even worth trying to get it fixed. I’ve written up many reviews and this, sadly, is my first buying experience that I truly regret! NO! I would not buy another one!

Much better than ceramic

I bought this because my ceramic heater wasn’t warming up the room enough. This does the job and I can set the timer and leave it.

I do not have central air or heat. For years I’ve used ceramic or infrared heaters. This heater works much better at a constant heat!

In the right air sealed room this heater would be great, my house was built in 1940 and is pretty drafty. it still takes the chill out of the room and my furnace doesn't run as much.

Works wonderfully

This is a really well made heater. It warms up the front of my house. We don’t use traditional heating system. This works along with a fireplace heater in our back room. Heats the house up very well!

Major safety concern almost caught fire

Item stopped working 4 months after use. Plugged in item after 5 months and item blew socket and the electrical connector burned off! This is a safety concern, my mom almost burned herself. Wan-mart would not return item because it is past 90 days.

All started well until it was leaking oil after a week's use. Returned immediately.

Honestly really awesome heater it keeps it nice and warmZ except during the winter it still does the job with the extra help of 1 other heater for bigger rooms, but for your own room or living room it does a decent job if you don’t let the heat out all the time. Overtime it just becomes more efficient. At first it feels like it doesn’t get hot enough. I took off the top metal lid I realized the metal casing keeps it from heating up to its full potential but I guess it’s designed that way so you don’t get big burns in the first place in case you have kids. I have 2 babies. It does get HOT. But as long as your kids know not to touch those things and play with it it should be fine. My kids don’t even notice it’s there. But not everyone’s kids are the same accidents can/might happen. Always be cautious if you have kids. I wouldn’t put it somewhere high up either. The heat is supposed to “Radiate” UP and OUT of the heater. The faster it can do that the more heat you’ll get. It’s basically a heater without the fan. Although there is no market for that. These heaters are well built.

Effecient, silent, attractive

Effecient, silent, even attractive. The remotes work on all the heaters, which is very useful.
