Delta is so much better than it used to be

My plumber installed a Delta valve in my shower due to a miscommunication about the shower system I bought that didn’t come with a valve. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately depends which way you look at it, he installed the valve at standard height which meant the shower system had to be installed at the height of a 7 foot tall person. I was really annoyed that I was going to have replace my shower system with Delta shower products to match up with the valve that was already installed. When I was growing up Delta was the cheapest product used in tract homes. Much to my surprise Delta has completely changed for the better! I am very impressed with how nicely the shower head and valve cover perform. I also bought the diverter valve which is awesome and the totally incredible handheld shower that has a button for spraying water out the end to clean the shower walls.

Excellent quality

Very well made, 2.5 GPM. It’s larger than the one it replaced, so the water is routed through more holes, resulting in less forceful spray. I’m still getting used to the “softer” spray but I’m happy with my choice. The on/off lever has a separate lever to regulate temperature. This is one reason I selected it.

Very happy on my selection of Champagne bronze. Adds an upscale look to this guest bath.

Need to caulk around spout and faucet to keep water from running behind them.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The tub faucet is big and not metal. Very easy to install. Wish it came with a gasket that fits around the faucet and spout because I am not good a caulking.

The gold tone is beautiful! Perfect for our guest bath.

Made of Plastic?

Just received the Delta Dryden Monitor 17 series and the shower head and tub spout are plastic. Delta says non-metallic material. It's plastic and cheap feeling. Very disappointed in Delta. Comments from Delta say sorry you are not satisfied. Description says made out of brass. Buyer beware!

Terrible product

I just received this today and the product is very disappointing. I paid over $380 for this product. Says it is constructed of brass, but it is plastic. I would like some assistance to secure a better product. Very unhappy!!

Delta Shower Trim

The shower trim is attractive. However, based upon the price, I was expecting better quality materials and a more consistent finish between the different materials used. In particular, I did not expect the temperature control handle to feel so flimsy compared to the more robust volume control.

Looks beautiful and functions well. I like that pushing on the tab on the shower head changes the shower water function.

I loved the square design and finish on this product. The shower has a nice spray coverage.

Champagne bronze finish looks good until you touch it. VERY difficult to clean off fingerprints. Fingerprints look like dark blotches.

For the price, this is a cheaply made unit. Very similar you could get at hime depot for half the price. Only thing nice is that it is stylish. But parts are cheap and not quality

The design and quality is so distinctive. With so many to choices to choose from I was able to find the perfect one for our bathroom update.

Excellent purchase 3 years ago Happy Happy

We bought this in champagne bronze 3 years ago and still pleased with purchase. The plate does tilt a little when wiped so we just tilt it back into place, no big deal. Wipe your hand over the shower head face every so often after you turn off water at end of your shower We love the dual use, shower and wand at the same time. Plumbers told me to only go with Delta so we do! Buying another one for the guest bathroom shower now. This is the kind of review I look for when purchasing.
