Worst ever to install…horrible!
I had a professional installer install this. Directions were unclear and ADJUSTING ROLLERS WAS A NIGHTMARE.
Installation is not for amateurs.
I just finished installing these Duet shower doors. I built this bathroom from scratch so I know what I'm doing and have for 50 years. Unless you know how to cut and assemble this unit properly, you'll have a problem! Best to hire a pro and let the responsibility fall on them. JMO of course.......RG
Recommended, with Caveats
This item was professionally installed by a licensed contractor about seven weeks ago, along with a coordinating DreamLine shower pan. They are very heavy and installation is a two-person job.
High quality for a great price.
Our walls were slightly smaller, that is why I picked this product. We never installed a shower door before, but it went almost without a hitch. It will take at least two people, because the glass is very heavy. We had 3 people which made it easier. It’s a gorgeous door and it glides smoothly and quietly.
Highly recommend
This went together really well with a 2-person install. The doors glide perfectly and required no adjustments to the rollers how they came. I could have been lucky with my shower installation to allow the door installation with no problems.

Awesome shower door. Install not too bad. Check your threshold to make sure it's level and the walls for plumb. Fairly straight forward install with instructions that are fairly easy to understand. Try to use a second pair of hands when installing the glass for safety. Wish I could say the same for Home Depot online service. Took a month to get the door with zero communication hence I will never order online from them again. Great product though...
Beautiful and We'll Constructed
We wanted to update our master bath shower. We also didn't want water all over the bathroom floor. We chose this model for it's elegant appearance and it's ability to keep the water in the shower. This unit works wonderfully to fulfill these requirements. The 5/16" thick glass is a plus. We're very happy with this choice.
Professional installation
I have a shower with a finished opening of 57.5", as per their instructions you need to cut the bottom and top rails using this formula: Finished opening - 2 1/4" = Finished cut length "D". When following this I have to cut off 1 1/4" from both ends which results in cutting off pre-drilled screw holes. I just had a conversation with support, the only information that would offer is "this is why we recommend professional installation"! If you are not interested in re-drilling and tapping 4 screw holes then I would NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

We had these doors professionally installed. The contractor had trouble installing them, so probably not easy to install. Once they were installed, the doors never slid easily. You really have to pull to get them to move. One time the door popped out completely and we had to wrestle it back into place. If the door would have fallen completely and broken, we probably would have been injured. Plus there is nothing on the opposite side of the door to allow you to slid them from both sides (as in handle is on the inside, but you need to slide that one to get in, you have to get your fingertips around the edge and push).

We're fairly good home diyer's but never installed a shower door. We started Saturday morning. Worked 4ish hours and got it installed. Ran into a few issues leveling the doors but got it done. We used a few other reviewers suggestions along with the instructions. DO THIS!!! IT HELPED SO MUCH! Dreamline should really add the suggestions to their instructions. We did have a couple roller wheels strip out. They're brass and it's easy to do. I still need to call for some more and finalize the install. But, they are holding the doors for now. We bought a 50$ carbide blade and it worked great. Definitely worth the money. We'll use it for trim too so the cost is more justified. Buy the blade! Door is amazing! Not hard but tedious work if your handy. It's beautiful and my 6'1" spouse walks through with ease.

We struggled with this Installation. If you are a novice, first time do it yourselfer this may be too much for you. Instructions are not detailed enough. Some of the screws were not quite the right size. Some of the drill holes were not done. The doors are extremely heavy to carry and lift to install. The shower walls on our project are not straight and even so that made it harder too. Be confident in your skill level or hire a professional

Happy with purchase. Glass doors are sturdy and glide smoothly. My only complaint is that the sliding door towel bars and bar hardware are extremely cheap. I was very careful installing them so I would not break anything. The screws to hold the towel bars into the glass were too long and the bars were loose. I had to travel to local big box store to purchase shorter screws. (metric thread) Better quality towel bars with correct hardware would make this a 5 star purchase.
[Rewarded Review] Extremely sturdy and well built
Would buy this shower door again in a heart beat. We put in a new walk in shower and we selected this door to complete the look. Our contractor was impressed with the sturdy metal frame. It went together well. It took him and one other person to install. Shower glass doors were very heavy. He suggested using more silicone caulk 18 inches up the wall from the base. We discovered after he left that we needed more silicone caulk in the front right corner. Problem solved. Very impressed with this unit. We normally look before buying and we took a leap of faith on this one. Great product. Thanks.

Good attractive door design. Fairly easy assembly. Doesn't leak at the bottom, always a bonus! Nice heavy glass but still slides smooth. Only negative comment - if you caulk around the edges for a better water tight seal and then have to remove the door for any reason (one of our tiles cracked - to no fault of the door) its VERY HARD to remove the caulking from the edges with the design. Probably not an issue for most though and I would still buy this door again.

The quality of the door and frame seems excellent, but the design is overly complicated (e.g., use of both "wall profile" and " glass profile" framing). Instructions are OK, until step 8....you should have given guidance on how tight the roller brackets should be to the glass (recognizing that overtightening can break glass); and where to position roller height (the highest position is the wrong answer, because door bottom then contacts --rests on-- the guide blocks). Further, you don't give any instructions on how to make "final adjustments of the glass doors", although you refer to them.
[Rewarded Review] Much better style then what we had.
Bought this Duet Dreamliner and was going to have a local bath & kitchen company install it. They were booking three (3) months out so I took a gamble, read the installation manual and decided to install it myself. I did have a fear that I would cut the upper and lower rails wrong but I did exactly what the manual said and it came out perfect. Wow, did this really change to look of the shower bath. All of the parts were of quality and thicker than our old one and the glass was heavier and thicker. Buying from Build.com was easy and the salesperson in technical support explained how to chose the size door from the rough opening measurements I gave her. We choose this model, the shipping was free and promptly delivered. Some door handle parts were missing and one call to Dreamline's technical support and our missing parts were on their way. The man we spoke to at Dreamliner located our purchase order, which was well over a month old, took the necessary information for shipping, and assured us there was no additional cost to us. He was very helpful and polite.
Good value but not great quality
Fit and finish look good but many of the parts are chromed plastic. They clearly wont last in wet conditions. Read the instructions- it does not install like other doors because you preassemble the tracks first (odd). The screws are low grade stainless-steel and several snapped when putting rack together. We are selling house so this is meant to be a quick aesthetic upgrade. Worked for us but be cautious about long term expectations
Beautiful Product
This is one of those products you wish you purchased years ago. It is a beautiful addition for our master bath upgrade. Installation required about 6 hours. I'm retired and took my time; careful to measure and check for level at every step. This is a DIY project only if you have the recommended tools and are skilled at using them. This is not a job for beginners.

Super nice doors at an affordable price! My husband installed these. The installation was a little tricky because if you follow the instructions the frame fits crazy tight in the opening. Also, you have to put the entire frame together before putting it in. My hubby had to take it apart many times to do small adjustments. I still give it 5 stars because it is beautiful in our bathroom and very solid.
