Great Product!!

I recently installed a vent-free gas fireplace insert, and I couldn't be happier! It heats my living room quickly and efficiently, creating a cozy atmosphere without the hassle of venting. The flame looks realistic, and the adjustable settings allow for the perfect ambiance. Plus, installation was a breeze! This has truly transformed my space into a warm and inviting haven. Highly recommend!

Perfect Fireplace

Fireplace worked immediately upon installation. Was anticipating some issues based on reviews but happy to report that didn't have any.

This was exactly what was advertised. I would have given a 5 star but we thought there was a thermostat. We have not used it much because it is in our cottage and we dont usually go there in the winter. We will see if it shuts off bepending on location of remote.

Never buy Duluth

My new Duluth logs were set up in November and every 10 days the pilot would go out for good. I'd have to schedule, take off work and the gas company would return...8x's they came out. Constant scheduling and all workers finally said the system was a lemon. I contacted Duluth Forge in February and they said I was over the 3 months time. I showed the print of how many visits from gas company and how I thought each time it would be fixed but they would not send me a new system. Run...do not purchase from Duluth. If you get a lemon, you're stuck even though I proved every 10 days I had someone out to my home to fix it. I have had logs all my life, just never buy Duluth Forge. I now have to buy another system and throw the hundreds of dollars from buying this 'new' system away. They want me to hire the gas company again to come out and uninstall, mail it to them, them look at it and return it to me, me hire to reinstall...what a nightmare. Any other company would see I tried, apologize and send a new set and I return this one. They just don't care. Run...no Duluth and get any other company that will stand by their product. I normally do not write on these things but I thought it best to help someone avoid this problem.

The insert itself is great, but the add on motor is unusable.

Not zero clearance as advertised. False advertising.

This is absolutely not ZERO clearance. Clearance is 7" on the sides and 42" above it so don't plan on putting a TV above your fireplace if you buy this one. Clearly false advertising and it has been a painful experience trying to get this returned.

garbage dont buy it

Only runs for about 2 days then the pilot goes out and wont stay lit ive cleaned the pilot checked all electrical connections and it still wont work will be returning this unit!!!

Want work cant get the pilot to light

The log were purchased for a new construction home back in May and were just installed in August. The pilot light was lite when installed but it was in August so it was cut off. Went back a couple months later to light the pilot light and no gas will come through to the pilot light. Had local gas company look at and they said dont by dual fuel gas logs that they always have problems with them. Called Lowes back and since it has been over 90 days from when I purchased the log they wouldnt do anything about it. Even though they have not been used and were just installed in August. I have called the company and they have been giving me the run around. I would not by any Dual Fuel logs the gas regulator will not let the Natural gas through to the pilot and like I said the Gas company said this is a big problem with dual fuel gas logs and Lowes will not stand behind them.

This product does not work properly and the company service is terrible. The remote is the problem. Sometimes it cuts the unit off and does nit come back on and sometimes it does not cut the init off. I can not rely on this unit to function correctly

Never worked

Installation on new porch. Struggled to get pilot light on. Never got logs to fire up. Called shipped core fire place guts. They shipped back replacement. Replacement did not work. We are returning and buying another product w local support. Cost us major delays on porch project. Seems to be junk.

Poor customer service

This fireplace is nothing like it’s described on the manufactures website and even worse is their phone number is a joke. When you call to reach customer service, you get a recording telling you that you’ve reached “Duluth forge” then hangs up. The only way to reach their horrible customer service is through email, even then they don’t respond. This fireplace, by their own description is supposed to have a fan, but it doesn’t. The built in thermostat is a joke and also doesn’t work. My advice, don’t buy anything from Duluth Forge if you want it too work like you expect

We had a problem with it not allowing the pilot...

We had a problem with it not allowing the pilot light to stay lit. We emailed for tech support because there was no number to call. Still waiting for a response. At this point it’s been 5 days so far with no response. We found the problem. Something wasn’t connected inside the fireplace itself. Once we tightened the connection everything worked perfectly.

I bought two - one for up stairs one for down stairs. Then my mom saw how nice they are and I bought her one. Then my sister saw them and she bought one. Cant go wrong very great heat output too.
