The light is of good quality. I wish it was a little easier to install. The screws that mount tot the bracket move too easily when trying to find mounting holes. One extra nut for each bolt would help.

I like the Stardust Flush Mount light. It has a great farmhouse or industrial look to it. I am updating our motorhome and am using this in the dining area. I need to get the right size bulbs for it but it looks great and works great and was easy to install. I am very happy with the quality and the size of the light for my application. I would recommend it highly.

The Sea Gull Dunning 2 light flush mount fixture has a nice rustic look that went well with my laundry room. I like the dark brown/bronze contrast of the riveted corner brackets with the faux lighter wood grain cross bracing. Two lights are a big improvement in the room compared to the previous single light fixture. The fixture comes as a single unit with the insulation attached to the back (see photo). It includes the mounting bracket with two mounting bolts and colored acorn style nut fasteners. I found the installation to be very straight forward as outlined in the instructions. As always, make sure the power is off before attempting to work on any electrical circuit. It is important to note that this fixture does not (or at least my fixture did not) come with the two required screws to mount the backing plate to the electrical box in the ceiling. Further, the fixture did not come with the required wire nuts to fasten the wires together. After removing the existing fixture, install the provided backing plate to the electrical box in the ceiling. This is done re-using the mounting bolts from your old fixture. As mentioned, you will want to hang on to the three wire nuts from your old assembly as well. Once you have the backing plate set the way you want to position the light in the room, screw the provided mounting plate to the electrical box. Position the black, white and bear wires through one of the large holes in the backing plate. If you have a tall enough ladder, I recommend using it to set the fixture on the top rung while you affix the wires. This metal light fixture has some weight to it and without a second set of hands the ladder works well. Attach the black (hot) wire from the ceiling to the two black wires from the light with a wire nut. Do the same with the white (neutral) wires. The bear wire (ground) coming from the ceiling and the braided bear wire coming from the light should be affixed to the ground (green color) bolt located on the backing plate. Once this is done you are ready to mount the fixture. The two screws pointing down toward the floor are the fixture mounting screws. They have jam nuts on them (see photo). These lock the screws in place once you determine how long the screws need to mount the fixture to the ceiling. Since the colored mounting nuts are an acorn style the mounting screw cannot go through the nut. Therefore, you want to get the bolt down length correct. I loosened the jam nuts and screwed the mounting screws up into the electrical box about ¾” and then re-tightened the jam nuts (this keeps the screw from spinning up further when you put the acorn nuts on). Make sure the excess wire is out of the area you want to put the screw through (insulation backing) and hold the fixture up and over the mounting holes. I did struggle a little finding the screw through the screw hole for a moment. Once you have penetration check to make sure the screw sticking through is not too long. The acorn nuts only need about ¼” stick out. If it is too long you will not be able to push the fixture tight to the ceiling before the nuts bottom out. All in all, this is a 4-star fixture for me. I like the fixture itself, but it is a little bit of extra work to get it mounted right and doesn’t come with new hardware/wire nuts.

The two rods that are at the bottom are differwnt lengths. Off by about 1/16”. When hung it was not level visibly. Had the light and needed it done so cut off the equivalent lenght off one of the other rods and was able to get it level. Looks great now though.

Very bright at first - will see how a different paint tones them down. I receive a lot of compliments on these lights, however. They were a perfect match for my home. I had trouble putting them up alone - they were hard to hold and wire simultaneously because I am short, but the contractor I hired did so with no problems.

Looks great and fits the style of our space. I like how it can be turned on a 45 deg angle and it really changes the look. We put in Edison light bulbs and its a nice warm glow!
