Beautiful shade great quality for the money

Beautiful shade, great quality for the money. They sizes they had left wouldnt work for me. But I loved these shades. Needed the half inch without it the shade was just too narrow for the windows. So bummed. Other sites had the shades but same sizes. So the manufacturer needs to make more sizes. :(

Our shade does not rebound at all. It seems as though the spring within the roll up portion of the shade was completely left out or defective. Has not worked since purchased. Extremely disappointed.

Happy with my purchase!

These shades are beautiful. The color is soft and a warm beige. They really darken the room. Easy to install. Great value for the price. Transforms the room.

Good purchase

Fabric is a nice textured weave, good neutral color. Blocks out light well, however if you do an inside mount there will be a sliver down the sides that let light through. But, that being said the inside mount looks more custom.

Sizing was terrible. Neither size fit our windows . Quality seemed okay and color was perfect. Super frustrating especially having to pay so much to return them. Definitely not “hassle free”

Simple, Elegant, Easy Installation 5/5

I received 2 of the Smoke 23" x 64" shades to cover 2 large but narrow windows on my French Doors. They arrived well packaged. Once opened, they were exactly as shown in the images. They are true black out shades that don't let any light through when drawn. The texture and color mixed well with the room color (light grey walls, white ceiling and trim. French doors are also white). The installation was easy with all the hardware needed to mount them. Mounting was much easier and less time consuming then your typical rod and curtain. I was pleasantly surprised with the mounting brackets as placement apart wasn't extremely vital as the brackets are well hidden. Although these are getting a 5/5 rating from me, one area they could use some improvement on is the draw handle. It's size is sufficient, however how it's attached to the shades could use some reinforcement. I found that if you draw the shades down too hard, the handle turns and shifts. The sudden jerk of it shifting makes you feel like you just broke it. Overall, other then the 1 above issue they're perfect! This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Functional & Easy Use

I have a unique window situation (the window frame doesn't have any depth) but because the space between cabinets was exact to the dimensions of the shade I was able to mount the shade just above my window and it looks so good! It came with the cutest little controller & I really love that it's motorized. Saves me from having to reach over my sink to pull down. I got the linen option & I think it looks really nice and elevated. I now want to have all of my shades be motorized! This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Affordable motorized option!

These were really easy to install which I love! The fabric is nice and thick, looks higher end than the price would assume. I put these on by 14' window, so the motorized feature is great because we can't reach it to pull up and down but during certain times of the day need a bit more coverage. If your window width is at a half inch, make sure to size down because you won't be able to inside mount with an extra 1/2 inch. Needed a bit of steaming to look put together when down but most of these shades usually do. Overall this was a great add and for the price compared to many other motorized shades in the market you really can't beat it! This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Do not waste your money even though this appears to be a great value. Lining is only in the center of the shade so it looks odd from an exterior viewpoint. Also the cordless mechanism doesn't work very well and limits on how high/low you would like to set the shade. I don't recommend this product.

I've got the power

These are amazing. I love how simple it was to install and they came exactly how the website described them. Color matched exactly and the blackout is awesome to give my closet some privacy. I can't say enough about how simple it was to install these. I about about to order 3 more for my bedroom. his review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Love it!

I have always wanted motorized shades, and these are exactly what I was looking for, I'm very pleased with the quality. The installation was super simple! I like that they are charged with a usb cord and the remote is very easy to use. We loved these so much that we got another one for the kids room in the same beautiful linen color. The color looks perfect with our decor and they really help block the hot Arizona sun. They have worked really well for us, and the battery life is great. These shades are one of my favorite home products that I own, I highly recommend!

Ordered 7 - One is not Functioning Reliably

These look great - I purchased 7 and they do provide very nice black out capability, installation was easy. I'm giving only a fair rating because very quickly - within a few uses - one of the shades stopped functioning reliably when pulling up/down. it now is at an awkward middle position and I'm afraid to change that in case it stops functioning all together. For almost $***, I had expected all to be fully functioning.

Comes up short!

These are super easy to install. The motorized feature is very nice, charges pretty quickly. The blackout works great and has cut down on mind day heat for sure. The material looks nice, but doesn't really match what you see online, more textural and off white than bright white. The bigger issue for me is these are not 64", they are 63" at best. They don't go all the way to the sill! They are an inch above the sill, so light still gets through. I've already poked holes in the wallpaper to accommodate the 64" height, so I'm not going to move them. These should have fit perfectly an inch above the moulding since the height of my window with the trim is 63". Price is great compared to custom motorized shades out there. There are some real short comings in my application, but if you have shorter windows, these might be perfect for you.

Nice fit, clean look, and mostly easy to install

Nice fit, clean look, and mostly easy to install. The included hardware for installation doesn't seem to work for the interior mount (the screw heads looked to be too big) so I needed to find my own. Also, since I was mounting it to the inside of the window frame I didn't need the anchors, so it wasn't too big of a deal. Anyway, that's the only reason I dropped it from 5 to 4 stars

Recommend, but get better screws

These look really nice, and are actual fabric, not textured vinyl. Installation was pretty easy, except that the screws they include are the absolute cheapest and stripped out immediately. The screws supplied also interfered with the locking mechanism. Get your own high quality flat top flush screws and it'll be perfect!

Overall very satisfied. Shade were fairly easy to hang and look nice. Only negative is fabric is not quite as nice as I would have liked. It's a little rough to the touch and feels a bit papery. For us they are in a room that's only used occasionally. I would not recommend them for a room where you entertain, have lots of guests, etc.

Blackout quality is very good, everything else is average

It's interesting that various styles are all on the exact same listing. I ordered based on the colors I needed and ended up with 2 different styles, one set somehow were an inch shorter than the other in width. I'm not sure how that happened, but I must've done it because that also appears on my order confirmation. So far, after a couple of weeks, these are still wrinkled and don't look anywhere as smooth as the photos. I don't think these can be ironed, as the blind behind the fabric appears to be some type of vinyl. Although I mounted them inside the window frames, flush to the actual window, they hang further out from the window than I like. Also, since they are not custom, there is a decent amount of light on either side of the blinds, especially on the set that is an inch smaller. I remedied this by flanking each window with blackout panels and that totally did the trick, fixing both the issue of the shorter blinds as well as somewhat pushing them further back into the window frame. For the most part, these are the most effective blackout blinds I've ever used, although, as another mentioned, you can see light through the stitching, but it's not bad at all. When I get up late on the weekends, my room is as dark as it is at night, other than the stitching. I'm not sure if they use cheap screws or if I just got a bad set. The last bracket I was trying to hang on the 4th and final blind was AWFUL. I mounted the other 7 brackets with no problems. This screw would only go in partially and then totally stripped. I worked and worked and got it out and tried over a half inch with a new screw from the same package. Keep in mind all the other brackets, including the other in that frame, went in fine and all the blinds I took down to replace with these were also inside mounted. The second screw started slowing down, so I decided to use a screwdriver to keep it from stripping and the head actually broke completely off. I tried everything to get that screw out and the last resort was a set of channel locks. I got it locked on there and was trying to twist it out when the screw snapped off AGAIN! There was no way I was getting it out at that point, but it broke off low enough that I could still hang the blind and I put that last bracket closer to where the original was and also used one of the screws I removed from the old blinds because it looked brand new, even after removing it. That did the trick. Otherwise, it took around 10-15 minutes per blind, solo. It would've been nice to have a second pair of hands, though. The instructions make it sound like tilting the blind will just make it snap into place on the bracket, but you have to physically push in the piece on the bracket to get it to snap in. Most of the time, just your thumb nail is enough, but a couple were stubborn and I had to try to get the blind to "hang" on the bracket on its own long enough to reach over with my other hand and push in that piece with one hand while tilting the actual blind up and into the bracket with the other and hope it didn't jostle enough when clicking to cause the other half to fall down before I could hold it up again. Also, the blind behind the cloth is just average quality. It's the type of blind you pull down and hope it stays because otherwise it will pop back up, almost as if it's spring loaded. My grandparents had cheap roller blinds just like that and eventually they either wouldn't stay down or wouldn't roll back up. Also, the fact you cannot iron them is frustrating as I have no idea if the wrinkles will ever "fall out".

Look great, nice quality

These shades were easy to hang. Look great on the window. Nice quality. I like that they are not completely a solid color. Exactly what I was looking for. Just wish they offered them in wider sizes so only two shades were needed to cover the picture window vs. three

We bought these shades for our new home. I have been really happy with them. I bought them for my bedroom. The fabric is much nicer than I was expecting. The were easy to hang and my husband was very happy about that. They work well. It is nice that you can just pull them up and down as needed. I had custom roman shades in our old house and they were not easy at all to work and broke after only a few uses. For the price you can not beat these shades. It's nice they come in so many colors and sizes too.
