The Mohawk Home Pet Friendly Rug Pad Spill Proof Reversible carpet liner. The rug pad is great. It's perfect under my rug and it is holding up fantastic. It holds my rug in place on my carpet, no slipping!! My cat peed on my rug and there was absolutely no leaking to my carpet underneath. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend.

Perfect for Potty Training

I used this liner under my cat's litter box rug and for use with our new puppy. It works great! We have liners under all of the rugs in our house now. They are super absorbent, easy to cut to size, and there's enough for a replacement!

Buying a second one because we liked the first!

This rug pad isn't super thick, but I didn't need it to be for our purposes. It lays flat, keeps our rug from slipping and the water repellence will protect our new floors. Will be purchasing another for our playroom.

Frustrated in Wellsboro, PA

I had ordered 3 separate rug pads. All were requested to be shipped. Two shipped and then I was notified the third of which we are speaking was "available for pickup" at the Mansfield, PA Lowes. I called last week and asked why and they apologized and said the rug pad would be mailed on Monday (today). Since that call I have been receiving reminders via email to please pick up my rug pad! Why? If it is being mailed to me do I really need to get continuous emails reminding me to pick up up? Very frustrating!

Not as advertised

No where on the product is Mohawk mentioned. Description says rubber is next to the carpet, soft side is next to the floor. The product says the opposite. There is no soft side. what should be soft is like a very coarse sand paper. I cannot put that next to my brand new vinyl floor. I don't like the Idea of the rubber backing resting on the new floor either. I needed it right away and I threw the packing in the garbage, I can't pull it back out. I'm going to need to put another pad under this one to protect my floor. Don't waste your money the product is not as it is advertised. I have been very happy with BBB in the past but any future purchases I will save all packaging and will not make a mistake like this again. As I said, if I did not REALLY need the product I would have driven 20 miles to the nearest store and dropped this on their return desk without packaging. I'm usually a nice person so please know it has been hard for me to write this review. It is absolutely not as advertised. Less

I got this pad to put under a runner. It made it thicker and softer. The runner does not slide all over and stays in place. I purchased another for an area rug. I spilled a lot of water on it and it did not soak through to my floor.

Awesome

I love this pet friendly rug pad. It's super soft and comfy under your feet like an anti fatigue mat would be. It also feels waterproof so no accidents make it through to your sub floor. I love that you're able to cut it to make it fit whatever room or space you need. I put it under my regular carpet and the floor is so much more comfy for my pets and now I don't have to worry about accidents.

Finally no more slipping

I have a runner rug in the bedroom hallway that the cats think is their personal slip-and-slide. I have moved that rug back into position more times than I care to count. This is the first rug pad I have ever used and it's a good one. No longer do I have to worry about tripping up on a bunched up rug from overzealous cat activity.

Super Soft

A carpet pad makes a huge difference under a rug. This one is great if you have animals or spill drinks often. It has a nice grippy texture on the bottom side so it stays in place well without moving around.

Has been great if you own pets

Great rug pad as we own 2 little dogs and 1 cat, they tend to have accidents every once in awhile. This pad helps absorb it and not let it go through to my floors! This also gives a great padding to the rug also and makes it more comfortable. I will be buying more for my other rugs very easy to slip under and if needed easy to clean.

Nice Pad !

I got the Pet Friendly Rug Pad from Mohawk Homes for our living room. We have an area rug and put this pad underneath, it is perfect, it is soft to walk on, grandkids love how soft it is to sit on. The carpet doesn't get folded over or edged up anymore, so no tripping over it. And when my senior dogs have a accident on it I know it will not go through on to my hard wood floors. I like the thickness of it and the 2 different sides.

I highly recommend this rug pad. It is not so thick that it causes tripping over the edge of the rug. It gives a soft cushion that is comfortable to walk on. It is reversible with a non slip surface on one side so that it can be used on hard flooring. The other side can be used over existing carpet. It looks well constructed for durability. I would buy again.

Better than expected!

I thought a rug pad would work nicely for our large area rug in the living room. I went with the Mohawk Pet Friendly Rug Pad. It helps protect the flooring underneath and didn't have the bulkiness I was first concerned with. It also helps keep the rug from moving or bunching up. The fact that it is pet friendly is a plus. (Luckily, we have not had to test that theory yet.) I don't even know it is there yet, I know it is protecting my new floors. It is better than I expected!

Fantastic rug pad!!

This has been hands down the best rug pad/gripper I’ve ever had. I have an older dog that still gets short bursts of energy and before this pad she would always slip when running onto the rug. This pad truly keeps the rug in place with NO slipping. It would be good for elderly too, so they don’t slip on rugs.Overall a great investment that works!!

Pet Friendly Rug Pad

Pet Friendly Rug Pad. My cats really didn't like it that much. They aren't that picky I don't know why they didn't like it.. I think it was to rough for my cats. I wouldn't recommend at all. But that's just my opinion

Nice pad with enough cushioning. Like that it is pet friendly and will protect our travertine floors from spills and accidents! The only thing is it is difficult to cut down to the size we want. I would recommend to try it.
