Low duty but worth the price.

This low duty tankless water heater works for us . It does the job for our shop. It is worth the money we paid to have a few good minutes of hot water. We are satisfied with it so far.

Easy to install and works efficiently

Easy to find the unit on the internet and then on Ace's website. Is working perfectly saving me a significant amount of water. My internal plumbing is such that it took a l o n g time for hot water to reach the kitchen sink- this unit fit easily under the sink and the green light rarely turns to red

Customer Service Is Terrible

Our church has purchased 3 of these units. Each one has had some type of problem. The cost is so affordable that it makes up for the lack of longevity and bad customer service. The most recent unit started leaking while under warranty.We contacted customer service, followed their instructions to submit documentation, received an email confirmation that everything was received. Waited 1 month. Then followed up. They said to call customer service. I explained I already did that. Now no response.

Purchased the 2.5 gal. After installation, neither of the indicator lights light up, but the unit heats the water. I'm not going to return it because I don't want to go through removal and re-installation.

Purchased online and received via free shipping the next day! Installed in detached garage for bbq and dirty hands washing. 7 minutes till very warm water and 15 minutes till piping hot water, works perfectly as expected! I just turn it on to use it when needed and I'll get another one for the planned 1/2 bathroom this summer.

This a terrific addition to my kitchen

My ranch style home has the water heater 50-60 feet (as the plumbing is routed) from the kitchen sink. I takes 20-25 seconds for the hat water to travel from the gas heater to the tap in the kitchen. This is not only due to the distance, but also the need to heat up the cold copper pipe running beneath the floor to deliver hot water to the the sink. This is a frustratingly long delay, and also a waster of a good amount of water.

Hot water runs out quickly

Make sure it fits your usage needs. You should have warm to hot water coming into it within 30-45 seconds from an on demand or primary hot water heater or you will run out of hot water quickly. The tank size is too small for more than a single quick hand wash.
