Fingerprints and water marks

I am happy with the function of this valve, BUT, like all the Hansgrohe brushed nickel hardware I have purchased for my new bathroom, the finish is SO HARD to keep clean. It shows eery water spot or fingerprint. The manufacturer does not recommend cleaning products with vinegar etc in the ingredients OR a microfibre cloth and it is so hard to remove water marks and fingerprints. In the showroom, I was assured this would be a low maintenance finish, it is not. I clean my fixtures EVERY DAY to maintain a decent finish. There is no limescale build up on this product.

Nice trim

Great trim. Getting the heat adjusted is pretty tricky. There is no real way to have the stop set at a comfortable temp without the max being scalding. I don't ever want to risk scalding water. So the comfortable temp has to be past the stop, therefore if you leave set to comfortable for your next shower there the symmetry will be disturbed. Probably only important for people who notice those kind of things. Otherwise, functions great and looks great.

Working well so far! - The color looked lighter in the picture, but we wanted to get it up and running right away, so the color was not a big deal breaker. Especially like the marking indicators on the plate for temperature and moving from one function to the other.
