We ordered the bronze color to blend well in our guest bathroom and it looks great. I love the way the handle just lifts up to replace the toilet paper. So simple!

Took about a week to arrive but had no damages or defects. Looks high quality. Love that it is a lever holder rather than the old spring style.

Wears out quickly

After about a year of using the toilet paper holder successfully, it started coming off the wall. The holder is so heavy it will not stay in the wall brackets. We have had to take it off the wall and rebuild the drywall for security. It did not stay long before it fell off the wall again. I would NOT recommend the American Standard Edgemere Legacy Bronze Wall Mount Toilet Paper Holder.

Solid & attractive toilet paper holder. Spring loaded cylinder functions perfectly & doesn't pop off (so doesn't roll under the vanity like the old one did). It's been 3 or 4 years now, and the metal finish is still perfect.

ITEMS WERE NEVER DELIVERED

I never received these items in the delivery. After contacting Build.com they sent me a FEDEX photo of a couple boxes on a doorstep indicating this is proof of delivery instead of actually checking their inventory which would clearly show they have (3) of these in excess stock. Until this gets resolved, I cannot recommend Build.com as a reliable service or product provider.

My favorite

Remodelled the bathroom and went with AS for the towel and paper holder. What I really love about this, besides it being sturdy and easy to install, is the rod rotates from horizontal with the paper on to vertical when you change it. It has a really neat latch that locks it in place horizontally so there's no more paper dropping on the floor from a spring loaded center - this rod is metal and rotates from how you see in the picture vertically to change the paper. Once the new roll is on, latch it in place with and you're done. It easily holds large paper rolls.

BEWARE!!! Instructions are wrong

The instructions have two different measurements for the distance between the brackets and BOTH ARE WRONG. The instructions say a distance of 7-1/8". The diagram says 6-1/2". I called American Standard (it took 22 minutes to get someone on the line). She said the instructions she had show 7-1/2".

Outstanding Toilet Paper Holder

This toilet paper holder is brushed nickle and operates differently than other similar products. It's a little larger than a normal holder which makes it work better.

Sturdy yet stylish. Pricy at full price but we were patient to accept a less-than-new deal.
