Water spots!

I had this installed 4/5/2023. It’s a great size! But I’m very disappointed in that it shows water spots! The water does not drain well from the sink and therefore sits on the bottom causing water spots. I have to dry it after each use, but still spots show.

Sleek but hard to clean

This is the most disappointing product out of my several fixture purchases at Lowe's. The sink looks very nice and has good depth. However, the bottom is too flat/not angled enough. It's super impractical and hard to clean. When you run water in the middle, it ends up pushing small food bits to the corners of the sink instead of letting the water flow toward the center. I'm very disappointed due to having to spend extra time cleaning the sink.

American Standard Edgewater 25" Stainless Sink

The sink is beautiful. It took a little work to mount it into the granite countertop, as the cutout was a little tight and did not want to risk cracking it by trying to cut the hole bigger. Now installed it looks great with a new Kohler faucet. Deeper than the sink it replaced with a nice flat flush mount to the countertop. Great product, and great service from BUILD. Thanks.

Excellent Sink

When I purchase sinks, I look for the best finish and overall minimal sound. I hate to hear water with the "CLANG" of a typical SS sink. This sink has both.

Perfectly sized for our main floor laundry. We converted a small main floor bedroom into a laundry utility room thinking we could dispense with having a basin. But I found it inconvenient using the bathroom sink across the hall to soak clothing and do stain treatment. I was looking for a smaller sink but large enough to soak a piece of clothing in. This American Standard stainless steel sink fit the bill perfectly at only 25"x22". With a small run of white base cabinets, this sink snugs into a 30" base. Finding a top mount stainless steel sink is not that easy, especially one that is designed and styled beyond a "kitchen" sink. The subtle design features aren't quickly appreciated until you begin using the sink. I particularly like the offset drain positioned toward the back of the sink. I didn't quite understand the "tapered zero radius corners" until I drained the sink for the first time. Water runs quickly to the drain and rinsing is a snap. With the finish I didn't find a need to wipe the sink dry. The sound dampening is superior to other stainless sinks we've experienced. The exterior of the sink is sprayed and included sound pads at the bottom and sides. A drain kit was included so no extra trips back to Home Depot. A bottom grid was also a nice surprise. All in all the quality of this sink is exceptional and the modern sleek design makes it an all purpose item - American Standard at its best. Don't hesitate to install in a laundry room or other areas of your home where a sink is handy. It also would make a great butler's sink in a family room especially with the included bottom grid and contemporary design.
