Never thought I’d love a sink..

We installed the sink in January 2020, mounted onto sealed butcher block. It’s held up incredibly well, and I get compliments on it all the time. I love how big it is, as a family of four with lots of dishes this was my main reason for purchasing it. We used the sink grate that it came with for about three years and within the last year have removed it for easier cleaning. The stainless steel bottom will definitely scratch (tons and tons) but i’m not sure anyway to avoid that. I think it’s just part of using it over time. I don’t mind it. The corners are pretty tight and need to be cleaned out regularly but I’ve made a habit of wiping it out daily.

I have bene living with this sink for 5 years and it does not drain well. so needs lots of cleaning daily- i would not recommend for functionality though it is a nice looking and durable sink- also drainboard is too big for our dishwasher which would make things easier

I like the large open sink. The metal grating feet marred the surface before I even received it. It is a pain to clean the sink - in and out. So I just removed it. The sink scratches very easily. I first noticed scratches on the counter lip. Then the sink itself. OK - it’s a tool. I probably should have upgraded to a more expensive model with better metal. It is difficult to get the sink looking clean. It water stains no matter what I use and I wipe it down daily. Next, the sink is not even slightly slanted towards the drain. OK my bad. Should have checked that out prior to purchase. Makes cleaning out the corners and rinsing time consuming. But what I cannot forgive is the length of the sprayer. It is really short. It barely reaches the corners to assist in rinsing them out. - I have to pour water from a cup to flush it out. How much could another 2 inches of hose cost? Add $10.00 to the price for heavens sake. I use that feature every day. It reminds me not to buy this brand again. I like the sink - with reservations.

Looks great. Hate it! Does not drain! Ive had it over 2 yrs and plan to replace. I’ve never had a sink in my 70 yrs drain so poorly. I’m constantly cleaning it out of food particles. And everything scratches it. Very disappointed in American Standard.

I love having one large bowl rather than two smaller bowls. I recommend professional installation and the sink grid. I bought the Delta Valdosta pull-down faucet which helps when rinsing the sink. The stainless does require a few more minutes to wipe down to keep from spotting.

This sink is absolutely beautiful!! Installation was a bit tricky but not impossible. Be prepared to spend some time tightening the clips that secure it to the countertops. Love the large amount of space! It does show all water spots but that’s just how stainless steel is, so I keep a towel nearby.

This sink looks amazing and I wish I could give it a higher rating! The sink does not drain well leaving food bits in it constantly. Poor draining possibly do to the drain being positioned at the back of the sink rather than centered? Very pretty in our kitchen, but lacking functionality.

Just installed this sink over the weekend. It's beautiful, very industrial and extremely functional if you have a lot of big pots (or animals) to wash. We discovered that it doesn't drain as well as conventional sinks, despite the pitch and assuring the level of the counter. Some water remains on the bottom after each use, enough to have to get a washcloth and push it down the drain. Not a huge issue, but a little annoying, nevertheless. It's a very pretty sink, aesthetically.

Spectacular Looking Sink!

My dream is to have a farmhouse, apron front sink. That would require some cabinet work to retrofit my current kitchen so I thought I would get this sink until I do a complete cabinet replacement remodel. This sink exceeded my expectations. It is spectacular looking in person. The lip around it is so thin it almost looks undermount. The sink is very sturdy & looks very expensive.

This is a great sink for large amounts of dishes or great for food preparation. It is made of high quality stainless steel with a high polished finish. It has sound dampening pads and sprayed on dampener to keep the noise down. To install it you will need some carpentry and plumbing skills. It comes with a cut out diagram so you can cut an accurate hole for top mounting. If you are mounting it under the counter top you should let the counter top installers mount it for you. It comes with mounting hardware for top mounting. I hope this helps you with your decision and good luck with your projected.

OK on the Gadgetman DIY scale [as long as you are comfortable doing plumbing] this IS a medium to easy DIY project. This sink is brushed stainless steel, and came packaged beautifully, it even had a fitted draw string pillow case to protect the finish. So, what the dickens does zero-degree radius corners mean? Its designer speak for square. In commercial sinks these are usually braised and as such ugly and food catch magnets, but these are molded and actually look good, and are smooth enough to be easily cleaned. In general I really like my new kitchen sink. And when my daughter gives me grandkids I’ll be able to bathe them in a spacious single bowl sink.

What a great, and I don't just mean as in large, farmhouse style sink! My little one, and the dog, think it's his own personal bathtub. I love the size and design because it is so easy to wash those large pots and pans that never fit into my old double compartment sink! It is also much easier to clean that my old porcelain sinks, just use Bartender's Friend cleanser and a soft scrubbie.

Sinks nowadays are becoming much more than a place to wash dishes. This one is a work of art and makes a beautiful update or a nice finishing touch to any kitchen. As with most anything Home Depot sells it was delivered fast and instructions were concise and well written. I would normally install this myself, but since this sink has the option of under mount or drop in mount and I was having new granite counter tops installed I opted to let the granite installers handle it for a extra fee.. As you can see in the pics it fits beautifully and looks great. On a Formica counter top you could easily surface mount the sink and update the look of your whole kitchen. This is a beautifully made sink that will look great wherever you put it At a reasonable price and well made to last a long time..
