Solid light. There were some minor imperfections on the globe itself but I simply rotated it to the back. This might be an issue if it was a center light where it could be seen from all sides though but I put it above the sink so no issue. The install was extremely easy but the directions didn't tell you much at all, so use your brain. Using. 2700k bulb this matched my recessed lights perfectly. This light doesn't get used often so it's more an accent peice but replaced a dated double florescent tube light so it looks better regardless. The cord looks kind of funky right now since it was curled in the package but should straighten out over time. The length of cord I had to cut was ridiculous but just shows that you can hang it so countless places , I just didn't need much slack slack for my application.
