Foam material 1 of 2 had a dent that appeared to be there prior to shipping

Just as most ceiling medallions are there made of a foam material. One of the two had a noticible dent on the outer edge that caused some initial alarm but I was rushed to finish hanging 2 Christorama fixtures. I needed the medallions as I had converted 2 recessed cans and the holes were larger than the flush mount base celilinf cap but I painted and place the dented side nearest the wall and they turned out beautifully - see for your self Pic Attached

Great for switching to a chandelier

Well primed, good thickness. Switched a ceiling lamp to a chandelier and this really helped pull the room together. Pay attention to the thickness though, I needed to replace the pipe screwing the chandelier to the ceiling to accommodate the thickness of the medallion. Which, honestly is really just something that makes the medallion pop.

Great value and quality

I purchased this for dressing up a pendant light on our porch that was previously a simple plywood circle. The medallion was sturdy. Verify thickness and make sure you have enough clearance for your fixture.Mounted two ways using liquid nails around the edges and a few wood screws in the middle where the light fixture base would conceal them.

Snap to install and looks great

Easy to paint and I attached it to the ceiling with an adhesive. It looks fabulous as a ceiling fan medallion. Coudnt be happier.

Great product

I bought this Ekena Millwork CM20BE1 Berkshire Ceiling Medallion 2 hide the larger than necessary hole above the ceiling fan. I got the one that is whole rather than the same style one that comes in two halves. It did the trick but also added another bit of beauty above. I feel it was probably way easier 2 put up than 2 pieces wouldve been.

We looooove it! it looks amazing with our fandelier. A great little trick is buy it in plain white and spray paint it in any color you want because its way cheaper than buying it in other color. We spray paint our in chrome and came out gorgeous! Oh make sure to wait at least a day to the paint to dry so you wont stain your ceiling.

Love this medallion. I have a formal dining room and needed something that makes my chandelier look complete. The quality is nice and thick and it light enough to be held up by the chandelier without any glue.

After looking at ceiling medallions at my local hardware store, I checked Amazon. I found the same medallion for a fraction of the price on Amazon. This medallion is a nice quality. I painted it to match my ceiling color and it looks great. I was able to install it with three screws and did not have to use any adhesive to secure it.

This was a great Medallion although we ended up not needing it. Thought the hole was going to need to be covered but worked without the Medallion. Nice quality for the price

LIght weight. Good finish. I like it

Our dining chandelier stopped most light from going down and outward. I installed this at the ceiling box to help spread the light. It definitely helps. If I want more I can give it a coat of gloss white and increase the bulb wattage. It was simple to adhere with basic painters caulk from home depot...or Amazon.

Enhances any room to look outstanding

The product came undamaged and looked great. Painting it a color did not pick out yet. The price was half then in big box stores

Shipped fast, nice quality..

Worked perfect for above my fan. Had to find longer screws because of the thickness of it but it fit perfect. Its a 6" round area in the middle if you want to know..

Great Value, Super Classy Medallion

This medallion is a great value! The design is super classic. Easy to install as it is not too heavy but not flimsy like some of them that are all plastic.

Color blind

The item received has NO resemblance to the posted picture in the product description.Ordered walnut. What I got is closer to oak.Buyer beware!!!

Perfect compliment to the rehabbed dining room!

Perfect fit. Its a bit thick, which I guess is a good thing, but I had to create a shallow groove for the existing metal medallion to settle into so that I could rehang the fixture. Great compliment to the new picture frame wainscotting that was just installed.
