Item worked exactly as expected. Prior owner of home installed a cheap ceiling light and the hoe was very large. When attempting to install a ceiling fan it would not cover the open created by prior owner. With little work this item covered the hole in the ceiling.

It looks like a plastic plate against our ceiling. We wanted to cover up a bad paint job around some flush mounts, but it looked very cheap and flimsy. I read the reviews and thought it might pass as long as you don't touch it or don't tell someone its pvc and you would never know the difference. You can most certainly tell the difference and its not worth the ten or so dollars just for a party plate with a hole in the middle. Spend the extra thirty dollars and get a wood or plaster medallion instead. This will make your space look junky, we decided we'll just touch up the paint because these honestly looked worse than the beige paint ring around our lights. Read the other reviews and believe them. I will say they did ship very fast and the packaging arrived in perfect condition.

A beautiful touch

In my renovation of an antebellum coastal house, these ceilings medallions were the perfect touch for new and old fixtures on 11’ ceilings.

The ceiling in my older home had the popcorn ceilings redone, and the area around the light fixture boxes is uneven and sometimes oversized. Using a medallion can be an attractive way to solve that problem. I chose to paint it to match the flat finish on my ceiling. It looks like plastic and a coat of paint can help with the illusion your medallion is plaster or wood.

Came on time, I ordered white so I could custom colour and it painted wonderfully!

Just gave four stars because it’s plastic. But it does serve the purpose. It doesn’t look bad at all.

Perfect medallion

This worked perfectly. It was exactly what I was needing.

Used these for two ceiling fans. The plaster ceiling around the existing boxes had cracked over the years, some having fallen away. This ring was just large enough to conceal the mess, and is plain enough to not call attention to itself.

Used it to cover the area in the ceiling where previous fixture was. It worked great. Easy to add to the new light fixture

Product returned. It was too large for the area I was going to use it. It was also too flimsey. I ordered a different medialion.

Product did exactly what I wanted. Covered a ceiling light fixture hole that was to big to cover with standard light fixture
