Excellent Quality- Easy to Clean

This door is extremely heavy and well=built. Installers should be aware of its weight so they can compensate for it on the bottom curbing. If curbing is put in on a slant to drain water, the heaviness of the door could reduce the slant and it will collect water. Love the big handle to open the door and we clean with a squeegee after each shower and the door is clear.

Gorgeous Glass door

Excellent quality glass door, hardware and auxiliary pieces. Very much a pain to install inside porcelain walls, but doable. The mounting hardware for the rail is not designed to tighten up to a flat surface such as porcelain. The rollers are well designed and smooth / quiet and the plastic water door seals work well to hold in the water.

Qulity shower door. Installing it was not difficult; both the written & video instructions are good, but some cautions: (1) very heavy, required two stong individuals (2) the measurements must be done with exacting precision--take your time-- a laser level is helpful (3) the provided mounting screws for the supporting rod are too short. A homeowner project with some experience. Rolls esily and looks great. Very pleased.

Delivered as expected, in one piece, expertly packed. Vigo tech support was my deciding factor in choosing Vigo. Doors are beautiful, easy rolling action to open and close. Just wished the fixed door was on the inside of the sliding door to prevent water from entering the in between. I wouldnt have this issue if my showerhead was on the left side.

Remodeling shower door for mid century home

Very happy with the door as the final piece of our master bedroom bathroom remodel. Beautiful well functioning door. Only negative is to be aware to read directions throughly as they are difficult. Takes two people to install for sure. Could do it in a third of the time now but initial installation is not easy the first time. The door has excellent adjustment capabilities for the out of plumb walls that an older home will have and was a big reason we chose this door.

Great door, needs a catch.

This is a beautiful door and it looks amazing in my newly remodeled bathroom. The only issue I have is getting it to stay closed, my contractor has adjusted it numerous times and after a day (maybe less) it's out if adjustment again. I think we've found an aftermarket magnetic catch that should solve the problem, which would be keeping the door closed...it seems to want to open about an inch or two after a day of use, which isn't much. Hopefully they'll come out with an accessory that can be used to keep the door open or shut. That is really the only issue we've had with this amazing shower door.

Most beautiful dark glass door color ever!

Love love love this choice! It was different and fantastic and a bit beautifully scary! I’m so glad we picked vigo dark grey/black tinted glass doors. We will never be caught completely in the nude like clear glass does! We loved the antique brass details on the door which matched our cabinet door pulls and drawer pulls on our new cabinet and our bathroom faucets and finishes. It’s a brass blast in there now! This was a detailed install so be ready to act professional while you wrangle this heavy install and keep your team all informed and ready to do some real work and thinking with you on each step! Instructions are good and all parts were in the box perfectly waiting on each step by step install explanation in my box. I registered my product. Do register your product at your earliest convenience .

Door broke. Also, door didn't fit well as it keeps gap between wall and door. It's not easy to install as I had professional people install the door and it was very hard for them

Beautiful door and great value

This is a beautiful sleek modern shower door, and couldn’t find something similar close to the value. The shower doors are heavy, and slider is very well made. We hired professionals to install it due to our wall being out of plumb-be sure to get an adjustable door just in case! We tried installing the door without the metal door trim piece that sits on the threshold, but water was pooling up and decided to install it—I’m not crazy about the way it looks but I’m getting used to it. The reason for 4 stars is because the VIGO company name/details are etched on the upper corners of each glass piece—it would have been a better choice to locate them out of direct sight view on the bottom inside corner, and looks tacky in my opinion. The other detail I didn’t realize is the handle on the inside is only a knob, but not a huge deal. It’s made of great quality and have received many compliments so far. Very pleased with the way it looks and how much it cost!

Great contemporary look

I purchased this shower door online through Home Depot about 2 months ago. I purchased the model that adjusts for approx 70 inch width. I really like the contemporary look and feel of the shower. Finding something in Matte Black in this size that isn’t custom is very hard to find.

Vigo shower door Installation

The shower door opening in our house was extra wide, so instead of building a stub wall, we opted for this wider than standard door set. The quality is excellent, the shortcomings are in the weight and the installation. You need at least 2 people to lift and handle each piece of glass in this door set. The 3/8" glass is very heavy.
