Up and Down Pillar Lights

Excellent lighting! We installed on pillars around our house - they light up beautifully and are so decorative when viewed from afar.

Missing necessary parts

I gave this a 2 rating because it must have a cover on top to keep out the rain and it does not come with it. This is an outdoor fixture, and in my opinion, it should come with the necessary cover to keep the water out. I learned the hard way that with no cover the rain with short out the fixture.l

Wall sconce

This product is "timeless". The wall sconce is versatile and can be applied anywhere. The color choices make it even more useful in different applications.

Not an Outdoor Fixture

I've purchased several of this model fixture and installed them in outdoor locations. All of these fixtures failed at some point over one year. Rain comes through the top and shorts out the circuit board. I've re-built some of them with salvaged parts of others, and sealed the open areas, as best as I can. But it's a matter of time before I replace all of them.

Water protection

The product does not include a caulking kit. So it is very important you have the right caulk and color to protect against water damage prior to install:

Great light, tricky installation

The light looks great. It's hard to find this style big enough for a house exterior. Installation wasn't too difficult, but I did encounter two problems to be aware of: first, the screws that come with the light are way too short, and luckily the screws from the previous lights worked. Second, it can be tricky to secure the light back onto the plate. There's a phillips screw on top that notches into a hole on the plate (it doesn't screw in), and when the plate is secured to the wall, it's really tough to get that screw back in. There's also a hex screw on the bottom that's just a big pain to tighten against the wall. That said, once it's installed you don't have to worry about those things so all in all it's a great light.

Looks super sharp! This size works great on our new addition which has 10' walls. Live them and the modern edge they give to the house!

Absolutely love these lights. Put them on the outside of our pool house & they look so elegant. Light emits up & down creating a very inviting effect against the rock exterior.

Shine a Light

I really like these cylinder lights. They hang on each side of garage door. Changes the entire look of my home. So many compliments. Easy to install, need two people to hang lights properly.
