It works, but mounting is a problem

Slim led panel 24"x7"x1" with 3 modes of light. should be mounted on electric fixture round box, (which is not always alienable at the place that one intend to install it).I used it under a cabinet above the counter (and there is no depth to install such a box.

Awesome Lights

Put 4 of these on my shop ceiling 2 years ago. Plenty bright, I'm a painter and like the shop very bright. Work well cold too.

Installation harder than necessary

As others have said, this fixture can not attach directly to a 4 inch octagonal ceiling box. I solved this problem by buying an adapter, which is also available at home depot. It would have saved me a trip to the store if it said on the box that an adapter was required.

installs easy and is slim and narrow. works great in our small laundry room.

Could not review the manual on the listing

I read some of the other review and thought I would read the online manual that you provide on the site. It opens but as soon as you try to switch pages, it is intentionally out of focus. If you want to sell something and provide a manual, suggest you permit us to read it. My guess - this is indicative of the reliability and usefulness of this product.

Does not fit standard junction box

I bought one of these to put up in my mechanical / workshop area. The mounting bracket does not fit a standard octagonal ceiling box sold at Home Depot. I searched multiple hardware retailers for a box with longer ears as shown in the installation instructions but came up dry. Returned a couple of days later.

A bit too bright

The product us good. We will see how long it will last. Should be 5 years according to the manual. One thing: We tried four different color temperatures, and each is still too bright.

Design flaw

Octagon adapter plate doesn't fit Canadian octagon, only U.S. smaller version.

Can't be legally used in Canada (I don't think)

This light must be designed for some tiny European junction box maybe 2.5" or 3". It will not work work with a standard 4" octagonal junction box used in Canada. The holes for the screws do not line up by a longshot. Also, the light fixture is 48" long but the mounting bracket which goes in the center is 8" long. That leaves 20" on each side unsupported and the ends of the light sag down from the ceiling. It can rock and tilt around using the bracket as a pivot like an upside-down see-saw. The bracket should be almost as long as the fixture. The wires and hanging clips on the bracket are close together and they interfere with each other when pushing the light against the ceiling. Wires get pinched in the hanging mechanism without extreme care. Also, because the bracket is so short you have to drill holes through the ceiling only an inch or so outside of the junction box, directly around the area where wires are entering the box. The toggle bolts used are likely to cause damage to these wires. Overall this is the worst light fixture I have ever seen. I can't believe this horrible, completely idiotic design made it past conception all the way to a store shelf. Less
