Round Oriental Rug

Beautiful oriental rug. Looks expensive without the high price. Use in my office/bar but would look nice in any room. I used to use it in my other house in my master bath which was huge and it really helped balance the empty space.

I purchase this area rug for my living room and it is perfect. The colors are true to the pictures. It is well made and durable. The size is perfect for my room and furniture.

Amazingly durable

Wow! I just realized I have had this rug for more than a decade!! It's been the entry rug in the foyer of two homes. Still looks great. Photo taken in 2023; purchased in 2011. Second photo added Feb. 2023 - I bought the same rug in a larger size for our dining area! Books still on the corners while it flattens out. ;-)

Not for anyone who likes or needs balance.

This runner is good quality, a good value, and I like the colors. I've had it for years now in a high traffic area and it's like new. What I REALLY dislike about it is something that might not bother another buyer. The problem is that the borders on either side are uneven. I wouldn't care if the end borders were. They're 16' apart and I wouldn't notice. But one side is 1" in width while the opposite side is 1/2". I should have returned it.

Serious Rug Addiction!

OK, it's official... I am a Safavieh carpet junkie! Once I got my hall runner, and my foyer rug, I then wound up buying three more rugs for my bedroom, one for a sitting area, and this one for my dining room. The rugs are beautiful, well made, reasonably priced, and look far more expensive than they really are. I looked for them on other places online and found some similar ones on ****, but at a higher price. Overstock seems to have the best price. The delivery was easy and tracking information forthcoming. They give a classic, elegant touch to my home... And the good news for Safavieh is that I still have two more bedrooms left to decorate!

Best rug ever!

I have bought Safavieh rugs for indoor and outdoor use for the last 8 years from Overstock and I cannot say enough about the quality and durability of this brand. This rug is no exception. With 3 cats, a teenager and a busy lifestyle, this rug looks brand new after almost 4 years in the living room. I absolutely love it!

Lovely area rug! Great quality true to color, size

Purchased this area rug for office/guest room. This rug was exactly as described, low pile, colors perfect. Soft on the foot, easy to vacuum, looks great in 10'x10' room. After opening neatly rolled rug took a few days to have it lay flat. It has been "off gassing" which is not unusual for rugs. Love the colors!

Great runner and wonderful decorating look

This is a beautiful, well made runner, it is a great compliment to the room and is just what I was looking for. I would recommend this anyone and the size choices and price are perfect for any decorating project you have. This is a purchase you will love! I have it on carpet and it does not travel after walking traffic for 5 days now. My robot vacuum cleans it easily and does not get stuck on the slight elevation over the carpet it is on. You will not regret ordering this!

Buyer Beware You never know what colour you'll get

I purchased a 3'3" x 5'3" rectangle, 8' x 8' square, 2'3" x 20' runner, 2'3" x 8' runner, 8' x 8' round. The runners and the small rectangle are a lovely ivory/tan and of excellent quality for the money. The round is a garish gold colour, which in no way matches the others. It is also quite out of shape and definitely NOT 8ft. The square is darker on one side than on the other and the pattern doesn't quite match up. Fortunately, the square is under a couch and an end table so you can't tell. The round one I just had to eat the cost as I missed the return window due to being in hospital. But it is so ugly that's there no way to use it. So buyer beware! Be sure to check them straight away. You never know what colour or quality you might have received.

Rich looking colors and pattern.

Although I hesitated to purchase rugs online from a picture, I could not be happier with my purchase. The colors are exactly as shown, very soft and rich looking, and the carpeting is plush and comfortable to walk on. They look like far more expensive rugs and I've gotten many compliments. My dog enjoys rolling on them so she approves too! I also ordered a runner which was the first thing I opened. At first I was disappointed, because the colors didn't seem the same as shown in the picture online. I actually almost returned everything before I even opened the area rugs. I'm so glad I didn't. The runner complements the other two rugs beautifully. I'm thrilled with my purchase.

I have always ordered Safavieh rugs on Overstock and have never had a problem. This rugs is pretty. The rug arrived and half of it looked "dirty"- it was actually the dye was completely off on half the rug. We ordered a replacement and same exact problem so there is clearly a problem with the dye lot. Now we have to figure out how to repackage two very large rugs and return them since it's impossible to reuse them original plastic packaging.

Very nice rug, but...

Quality appears excellent. Soft and nice to walk on. Looks pretty much like the picture except for the thin, ugly black lines that looked brown online. Would have given 5 stars except I was forced to buy this color scheme or do without a rug where I really had to have one. Sure wish I could have found something with purple in it, but this was the Only rug I could find that would sort of work in the room. Very poor color choices available this year if you don't like blue, brown, orange, aqua, black, gray, or red. I won't be buying anything else for my household until the self-proclaimed Corporate Design Gods decide we can all have colors again.

I sent this rug back even though the return shipping was more than half the purchase price. It's hard to tell how a rug is going to look in your room. I had so many variations of brown in my room--pink-beige walls, beige carpeting, and another shade of brown on the futon that the rug did not look good. There was a lot of gold in this rug so it was the color not the quality that made me return it. In the right room, maybe on a wood floor with accents of coral and rust would have been very pretty. I had to cut the packaging to get the rug out so I had to go to the fabric store to get yardage of heavy vinyl to wrap it up and tape it. Yes returning rugs is a nuisance but Overstock customer service is the absolute best. I never hesitate to buy online from them knowing if there's a problem they will make it right.

TESTED BY 5 & 6 YR OLD RAMBUNCTIOUS BOYS! Fortunately we bought the Mohawk dual surface Pad to go on laminate floor underneath. Without it, this runner would have been a disaster waiting to happen! Fairly durable & inexpensive way to protect high traffic area, but a pad is needed for stability and adde d comfort. Delicate color detailing is fine enough to make a long boring hall impressionably comfortable. To get the ends to lay flat in one day, just curl "under" 1 inch of each CORNER and set a heavy object on it for a few hours. Corners will lay flat & stay flat within a day of removing the heavy object. Can't stress enough the need for a pad on smooth surfaces, or this runner will buckle up & run OR will fold like a crumpled dollar bill.

I absolutely love this rug! I put it in my entry way from the front door. It looks beautiful and fits perfectly. It's cushy with the right amount of thickness. The colors are subtle with enough pizzazz to catch your eye. Priced very reasonably and shipping was was very quick. I highly recommend Safavieh rugs from Overstock.

It was perfect for my needs. My dog is 14 and having difficulty standing, after lying down, on the wood floor. I purchased this for our hallway, which overlooks the living room. The design is perfect for the dog hair (you can't even see it) and my dog can negotiate standing up.

Lovely traditional styling

This is a very pretty runner, with a great combination of rich earth tones. The design is lovely in the traditional style and it is soft under bare feet. Because it is an inexpensive rug it is thinner and can move when walking over it such as coming around a corner in a hallway as I have it. I do not have a rug gripper under it and I am sure this would help to secure it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice Quality

I bought this to go by our front door. The colors and quality are very nice and it's a really soft pile. We have three dogs so I was worried about durability, but so far so good. I ordered the thick felt mat to go underneath... mistake. The front door wouldn't open because the rug was too high so I used one of those waffle-weave mats instead and it worked much better. I had already trimmed the felt mat, so no returns (darn). The rug is thick enough without a thick mat.

Quality Control Issue

I have ordered two area rugs prior to placing an order for this one. Both worked out well. But this one is definitely darker one one side than the other. At first I thought it was the fault of lighting or my eyes, but when I took this photo it confirmed the issue. Disappointed, but I'll hold onto it to keep kitty's feet and my own warm this winter. Too much hassle to return. Guess that's just the way of mail order. You never know.

Nice rugs at a nice price

This is the second set of these rugs I have bought. Had to throw out some other rugs that did not hold up to two medium to large dogs in the house. These cover our hardwood floors and protect those floors from dog paws/nails. They work well for why they were bought. The only negative is that there is a design flaw in spots on the outer border of the rugs. It is only visual and not a physical problem. That does not bother me as I was not going to buy expensive rugs since our dogs have run of the house and "stuff" happens.
