Soft light over mirror
I mounted these lights in my sons bathroom over the mirrors in the horizontal position. The lights are somewhat modern, and compliment a more rustic mirror I chose. Love the white covering over bulbs to soften the light.

Mid century made easy
We purchased these sconces for our bathroom remodel. The new vanities have a mid century feel so I wanted something different than the traditional over the mirror light bar. We opted to hang them vertically in one bathroom and horizontally in the other. We also put them on a dimmer. Provide nice soft light with modern appeal. A little expensive for a two light fixture so we dropped a star for that. Otherwise, easy to install, finish is nice and seem of good quality.
Too big for me
I ordered 2 of these to be used as sconces on the sides of a bathroom mirror. Although I usually look at the specs on anything I order online, I didn't realize how wide the glass portions were going to be and how far it would project from the wall. They were just too big for my purpose. The sconce would likely be great used over a bathroom mirror where the size would work well.

Wall sconces should be mounted approximately 60-72 inches from the floor, adjusting based on ceiling height and the room's purpose.
How far apart should wall sconces be placed in a hallway?
In a hallway, wall sconces should be spaced about 8-10 feet apart to ensure even lighting and avoid dark spots.
Can wall sconces be used as the only source of light in a room?
Wall sconces can complement ambient lighting, but for most spaces, they should be used in combination with other light sources for adequate illumination.
What are the ideal dimensions for bedroom furniture placement?
Beds should allow a minimum of 30 inches (76 cm) of clearance on either side and at the foot of the bed for ease of movement. The top of your mattress should be approximately 24 inches (61 cm) from any bedroom wall-mounted lighting fixtures.
