Won't lay flat - 2 rugs and 2 years later

I bought this rug 2 years ago. Immediatly after unrolling I noticed the quality of the rug was poor and it was crinkled underneath therefore it wouldn't lay flat. I was hopeful that I could fix it with the ice method or heavy items, but nothing. I complained got a free rug sent to me and the exact same problem occurred. I wouldn't buy this rug, absolute waste of money. It still trips me to this day.

Unfortunately a disappointment

I’ve had this rug about a year and a half and even though it was thin I was initially in love with it. But it became a huge hassle to vacuum. We have two dogs and the hair shows against the black rug, over a short amount of time it became harder to pull the hair from the fibers of the rug. I literally at times have to vacuum for a straight ten minutes and even after all of that there will still be hair left in it. I even bought a new vacuum thinking it was my old one causing the issue. I’ve shampooed it once which made no difference and just caused more wrinkles. I think if you have no pets and minimal traffic on it it would be fine. But for me it was a let down. At this point the only part of the rug that looks good are the parts under the couch and coffee table.

How is this almost 5 stars?

I researched these rugs for a long time. I hate to admit that picking rugs gave me slight anxiety, but it is what it is, ha! So many beautiful rugs, most with great reviews. I had three final picks and ultimately picked this one.
