Schonbek goes above and beyond with "detail" and they patent nearly every item in their line to protect their innovated inventions. In the glass arm portion of the business, Schonbek has many inventions that ensure that the crystals stay intact, the glass won't break, the joining areas of the crystal components won't chip. They use locking arm patents to ensure the arms stay put, they use crystal pinning patents to ensure the crystals are hung properly, safely and straight, they use silk in their arms to avoid seeing an unsightly wire. These points are true to "every" glass arm product in the Schonbek line...Please see images for more details....
