Go first class once in a while..
you will never have chicken moister that in Le Crueset. Same with chuck roast with Montalcino or lamb or turkey. Not hyena. Tip your waiter. Great investment. Give to kids later. The 15.5 qt has gone up $125 since purchase 2 3 years ago. 1/2 of an F350 payment. or property tax on a Subaru.
Disappointed in Nordstrom
This is the third purchase I’ve made from Nordstrom during a sale, where after the sale ends, I get an email that my order has been cancelled. I wanted to purchase this item from Nordstrom because they were offering double points. I would’ve purchased it elsewhere had I known my order would be cancelled, but now all of the Black Friday sales are over. I asked Nordstrom to honor the price for a different color and they refused. So unhelpful, update your inventory software and quit running phony promos!
A beautiful cast iron oval casserole.
I bought the 8.9 litre casserole/ dutch oven to replace a slow cooker I had been using. I much prefer the results and am really glad I made the switch. Whilst you need to keep a check on the liquid, the results are top notch. With this size you can easily fit a joint in with veggies etc. and cook it in a very slow oven for hours. The flavours are great, gives you great stock. The lid seals well.
Absolutely beautiful and practical in every way...The Best!
This product takes an avid cook and makes them into a Gourmet Chef. You cannot help but be enthusiastic about it .
