Beautiful but AWFUL smell!

I bought a whole set of these for my bathroom in addition to two others for another bath. The Ivory have a horrible skunk like smell. I've had them hanging outside for days, and while better, they still smell really bad. I could smell them down the hall when approaching the room. I do love the way they look and feel though, so I'm hoping some day the smell goes away. Good price for look and quality. The other color I got, was fine.

Soft and fluffy, Mary Jane smell for a few days

I purchased the ivory color in the 6x9 size for my 2nd floor home office. Soft and fluffy, but heavier than anticipated lugging up a flight of stairs. Took one star off because after I unrolled it, my husband questioned whether I had invited Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson over as it had an… “unusual” smell that wafted throughout the house. But, after a few days it subsided. Nevertheless, I would purchase again and recommend this product.

Favorite Rug

This was one of my favorite purchases for our home! However it has a very strong odor that stayed well until we sadly had to throw it away about 2 years after purchasing. (Got great use out of it but there was simply no coming back from the wear from walking and furniture that ruined the plushness, this is definitely not meant for a high traffic area). Will likely order another at some point though!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Rug!

This rug is stunning and very luxurious! It is very thick and feels amazing under my feet. The pile is so deep, my toes get lost in it! I ordered the Ivory and it looks stunning. I have received many compliments on this rug. Highly recomended!

BEAUTIFUL RUG!

The color is exactly what I was looking for the texture is amazing and an overall wonderful accent to my room!

Rug is thick and gorgeous and unfolded without matting down. I ordered the bone color and it’s more of a warm almond, which is exactly what I wanted. It’s very close to the color in the picture. My one gripe is that yes it does have a faint skunk smell like others have mentioned. Thankfully we aren’t moving in just yet so it has time to air out and hopefully dissipate, but Perigold should have better QC measures in place to cull things like this out of the batch. A bad smell is as bad as it arriving damaged.

Super soft

Extremely soft and thick! It’s like a pillow for your feet! Highly recommend.

SHEDS EVERYWHERE

this rug sheds SO MUCH. We had little strands all over our house and were Constantly sweeping them up. We vacuumed it a few times to try to see if that would fix it & it didn't. Ended up tossing it in a dumpster. Got an **** one for **** bucks that doesn't shed. Don't waste your money on this

Thick, plush but this rug sheds daily, URGH!

I absolutely love the thickness of this rug and it looks wonderful in my room. HOWEVER, IT SHEDS SO BAD! I have white strings all over every day. I vacuum it, front and back, and nothing stops this from shedding. If anyone has this, and you found a solution to this problem, let me know. Sad heart as this rug would be amazing if it didn't shed so much.

I have had this rug 10 months now and there is an awful skunk odor in the room, especially on sunny days. I noticed it slightly when I received the rug, but it has gotten worse as time has progressed. I use the hose extension on my vacuum to keep it clean, which seems to work and there isn’t much traffic on it since it’s in the bedroom. I keep an air purifier going most of the time and that really helps with the smell.

I was surprised about this rug! It is very thick and soft. I had a hard time deciding where to put it after I opened it, because it is so nice. I have since ordered another one. It was a great deal because it was on sale also.

Thick rug

This rug is very thick and soft. I bought white runner for my bathroom. I'm not sure what to do if something falls on it and gets it dirty, looks like it might stain. Otherswise, very luxurious!

Arrived Dirty

Quality of the rug is great. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because it arrived dirty. Once I cleaned it, it was fine.

I loved the look of this rug. However, the shag makes it difficult to vacuum and debris gets stuck fairly. Also, while the bone color is lovely, it doesn’t stay that color for long. Especially if you have kids or pets. I ended up replacing it because I couldn’t keep it clean.
