Excellent Product

Excellent product. Matched our prior lamp post which was recently damaged in the hurricane. Easy to install. Highly recommend!

Cheaply Made

Bought this to replace the identical existing light that was 20 yrs old. Should have just painted what we had. The base is about 1/4" thicker and the holes did not line up. Parts were missing. The two threaded posts to insert on the pole only came with one nut instead of two. The nut had to be tightened, once it was up, to eliminate the light arm from moving back & forth. We didn't realize it until after the light was up and didn't pull it back down to add another. No POC for missing parts.

Lacks a bit in the quality category.

The quality was not very good, several components had stripped threads, holes in the top caps were not threaded properly and I had to do a lot of repair and rework to assemble it. At this price point I guess this is what you get, overall it looks nice now that it's up and working in our yard.

cheap, poor quality product

Very thin aluminum with chipping paint (spay paint already used to fix) and glass parts rattling around. Horrible instructions. To get the nut on the bolt to attach the lamp will need a child's hand. Not enough room for proper wrenches. The same lamp bought years ago was made much differently with better engineering. This was engineered to be cheap. Doubt it will last as long as the original. Home Depot should be ashamed to offer this product now.

Poor Desighn assembly

This is a beautiful lamp once it was assembled.. Yet Assembly was very difficult... had to work in very tight and Narrow spaces.. I guess it will be OK if your hands are small..Be sure To use tools with magnets installed....

Set aside time for assembly

Part of my issue with this product is that I didn't know it was meant to be permanently installed; ie, set in concrete. I was not expecting that and it meant I had to adapt since I was setting the lamp on my deck. Not a big deal, but it set the tone. The engineer who designed the lamp clearly either has tiny and extremely pliable hands, or never had to assemble this lamp. What should've been a straight forward and pleasant task was several hours of agony and frustration. So be prepared. Set up the lamp, added bulbs (100 watt equivalent LED), and it works great. Do not use anything but LED lights - you do not want to have to take any part of this lamp apart ever again, especially to change a light bulb.

This unit is functional but poorly made. It came with many missing parts and is extremely delicate. It will do for now but definitely plan on replacing with a better quality in the near future.

a bit different desigh from the older model but looks similar

Bought one of these lights to replace one I had installed about 20 yrs ago and a tree branch fell on it. It looks almost exactly like the original which is good, but assembly has changed a bit so its almost impossible to attach the 3 arms with the lights to the pole. I had to improvise with a dryer-type screw clamp . The light bulb caps on top are also not nearly as easy to open/close. other than that it is still a good pole lamp

overall good piece .the threads on the fluted arms that hold the lights are poorly cut and very hard to work with .and TWO DIFFERENT SIZES and very difficult to access to put nuts on .I have 50 years experience and a lot of tools otherwise it would have been returned .useable for me .probably not useable for the average home owner.

Missing parts

This unit was purchased to replace one that was previously broken. It was supposed to be a quick swap out but took some time due to the many missing pieces. We were a bit disappointed to find it to be thinner in material and less durable than the previous unit that nearly looked identical. Overall, it does work but If you have concerns about it being sturdy than this is not your unit.

I was happy to find the exact same lanterns I put in over 15 years ago. These are very strong and the finish finally wore off and the aluminum started to deteriorate. Lasting over 15 years is fantastic.

Holes were not lined up

Holes were not lined up for the globe brackets. Thumb screws were too small. Wiring harness was cheap quality.
