Great Weight. Poor Quality.
These are a very heavy and sturdy pair of book ends. The only problem: mine arrived with a deep, ugly scratch in the wood. Granted, it is on the side that faces the books, so I kept them. However, if I were giving them as a gift, I would have had to send them back.
Poor quality/Canceled order which was ignored
Order was canceled same day orderedand Walmart chose to ignore the customer request by never responding. When a Customer care representative finally listened, he canceled wrong item. The bookends smell like manure and I will donate them as I was told no need to return. Poor customer service once again.
Beautiful and elegant
These book ends are perfect. they are beautiful, real marble pieces with individual patterns, and the wood ends give it an upscale look. They are very heavy and hold even large books. I ordered 4 sets for our new bookcase, and they are an elegant touch.
