Best By Far

I have had bidet toilet seats made by several different brands over the years. This BidetMate 2000 is the best by far. It was super easy to install and the unlimited heated water is awesome. The controls are beside the seat which is more convenient for changing and adjusting settings. I could not be more pleased with it!

This review is being written on the Bidetmate 2000R-E Seat for Elongated Toilets. I would always hear people talking about Bidets but honestly they scared me. I finally gave in and this model was a great pick. I have it my master bath not the main bathroom. Installation was extremely easy and straight-forward. Luckily I have an outlet in the perfect spot so I didn't need to put in a new outlet. It has so many features. The power wash feature with warm water and a heated seat and air dryer are all amazing. It was extremely strange the first few times not to mention I wasn't sure how to position myself. I am still getting used to it but I love it. I feel so short changed that I waiting so long. Oh my wife screamed the first time she used it which was hysterical.

I should have upgraded a long time ago!

I used to have an old, basic bidet that I threw out, and I dreaded using the bathroom until I was able to replace it with the 2000 bidet. It's a dramatic difference between toilet paper and a bidet, even moreso when I got to try the heated water and gentler spray. My old bidet was either "just enough" or "pressure washer" and very little margin of error, whereas this one is strong enough at the top of its range and really nice at the bottom end. I should have upgraded a long time ago!

Excellent bidet and is very easy to install. Easy operation with controls on side panel full of custom settings and has an effective air dry heat. Water pressure is adjustable and even my kids are able to use it with the child setting button. Love that it's self cleaning and the seat light is an added bonus to guide the family at night. I'll never go back to a traditional toilet now that I've experienced this bidet!

This model does need a GFCI outlet within 4feet

I bought this BidetMate 2000r because my 89 year old grandmother keeps getting UTIs and she wears Depends. I wash her with wet paper towels and a washcloth. I feel this will clean her much better consistently. It came very quickly, and is packaged well. There were only quick installation directions. But it was easy to download and print detailed instructions. That was where I found out I had to have an outlet within 4 feet of the BidetMate and it should be a GFCI outlet. The cord is on the right side of the BidetMate and is 4 feet long when you are able to stretch the kinks out tight. I haven't been able to install it, because I do not have an outlet within reach, and it states "To avoid using extension cords if possible. Consult with a certified electrician where extension cords are necessary." I am about to remodel both of my bathrooms and will just have them install a GFCI outlet so we can use it safely. I am a bit bummed. I guess I didn't think it through on how it would get power. Besides that, it has ALL the bells and whistles I was looking for and I can't wait to use it!! It will surely keep everyone's bottoms much cleaner and reduce the use of toilet paper and paper towels in our household!

Clean ALL your nooks and crannies

I was a little intimidated by the install at first, but other than needing to get power to it, the rest of the install was a piece of cake. What seemed like a big job was actually done in minutes.The installation directions were pretty clear and easy to follow.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the appearance of the entire thing. It is quite large and doesn't look 'natural'. However it is comfortable, even for a hard seat.Using the wireless remote control (which is highly recommend) is pretty easy and self-explanatory. I really like that it warms the water (if that's what you selected) BEFORE it washes you. The pressure and alignment adjustments are very nice to be able to hit the 'right spot'.The 'dryer' is kind of like one in a restroom. It blows warm air, but unless you have time to sit around andAir dry, I'd recommended still using TP to dry off.Overall I would recommend the bidet for anyone that might have a need for that type of hygiene help.
