This fixture takes a special type of CFL (curly) bulb. Instead of screwing in the bulb it has tabs that you insert and lock in place. I didn't quite get the bulb locked and it fell out and smashed.

When remodeling our powder room I was looking for a chrome light as we were changing all of the bathroom hardware from gold to silver. We didn’t want to rewire the lighting so I had to find one that would replace the one we had. Luckily I went on line to Home Depot after searching stores to find a replacement. It was exactly what I was looking for and it fit right over the mirror we had for the room. It looks lovely!
