Rain Barrel bulge

Once the barrel is full of water it bulges out from the back which should be flush against the wall. Very poor design.

Had some issues with delivery, but that has little to do with the product. The bands on our barrel were starting to wear before we even took it out of the box, but it looks "weathered" so we have no complaints. Only issue- the hole for the tubing that leads to a gutter was too small so we had to expand it by drilling into the structure. Overall, it will do what a rain barrel is supposed to do.

Easy to set up. The diverter seems to work well. However the barrel has a small hole on the side that is letting the water seap out. I haven’t determined yet the best option/product to seal this hole. Also, delivery to the store was 5 weeks late.

It’s only a half rain barrel! No wonder they don’t show pictures of the back. Disappointed.

About manufactures not Home Depot

This company purposely oversold the amount of rain barrels that they had available in stock at the discounted sale price and then two weeks later nothing had even shipped or processed so they forced me into buying the $80 more expensive one so that I could have my Mother’s Day gift at some point in that month I believe the manufacture did it intentionally to make more money! It should be illegal and is just plain wrong. It is the exact same barrel just a different color bands and you’re going to charge me almost $90 difference.

This may sound strange, but we turned it into an outdoor urinal. Which works perfectly for the kids to use by the pool.

It’s easy to prepare it for winter so that the barrel doesn’t freeze. Just remove the diverted tube and drain the barrel so the water flows out of the downspout naturally. During the good weather months if the barrel fills with rain the excess flows as it should through the downspout rather than overflowing the rain barrel. It would be nice if there was more of a selection of rain barrels that functioned this way. I can only find this functionality in the Emsco brand.

It is not round, it is a half barrel and plastic.

The threads on the faucet wouldn't line up and even after caulking, which was suggested by the manufacturer, the first time I attempted to use it the faucet FLEW across my patio and I lost all my rain water. I couldn't find a number for the manufacturer but contacted them online. This was 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received any response.

Looks like plastic and not barrel in the brown. May paint the rings black like on Grey one to look better. Using for watering plants and to save on water.

Easy to install. Has everything you need to set it up. Looks nice against our home.

Does not include diverter

Like other reviews, this product does not include the diverter as pictured and advertised. Otherwise the rain barrel is as pictured.

I liked that this was a ready to go product but the color was a bit more orange brown than dark natural brown. It does not blend as well as I had hoped with the environment around it.

[Rewarded Review] Decent Budget Rain Barrel

Overall this does the job it promises. You do the work yourself (drilling a hole, installing the spigot) but it’s not that difficult. The spigots themselves seem a little touch-and-go for me, they don’t alway have much flow, but that might be dependent on how full the barrel is.
