Unhappy 😞 Customer!!

Just purchased the teakettle and it is broken, while washing it a small metal piece near the spout area that holds the spout up fell off. Called the the company and basically got told to take it back to the store which is Kohls no guarantee I guess as the box states. 🧐🤔. The store is 2 hours away from me and I prefer not to drive back, waste my time and gas on a defective product. I purchased this item based on the brand it was costly $75. 00 . So I’m very disappointed in my purchase and the customer service I received when I call today and spoke to a Ben customer service representative. Just purchased item Saturday 12/14/2024 Kohls dept. Needed replacing in less than a year

From the start, the kettle's spout didn't close properly and usually didn't whistle when boiling. If I didn't keep an eye on it, water would sometimes boil over onto the stove. After a few months, the enamel next to the handle started to chip away. On the inside of the kettle, rust

I like it

It's attractive, whistles. matches the rest of my Circulon cookware perfectly. It's easy to pour ALL the water out so it doesn't sit in and salt the kettle. The only drawback is the single-layer construction, without the full-cap bottom that some non-clad cookware employs. This is surely a cost-savings, and may allow the water to heat up a second more quickly? Yet it means the bottom is single-layer thin. . . and sometimes the bottom flexes, or pops, going from slightly concave to slightly convex. Overall, this is just a minor issue. My preference would be for the kettle to include a full-cap bottom.

Circulon tea kettle

Very pleased with this tea kettle. Nice looking and good quality. The whistle is not loud, takes time to get used to it. The handle is very comfortable and does not get hot. Definitely recommend it.

Works well

I love the look of this kettle. We use it almost daily, and it holds up nicely. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the handle still gets hot. It's advertised as one that does not get hot, but it does. Certainly not a reason not to buy this pretty kettle, but I was disappointed.

This is a great teapot! The handle is very comfortable with plenty of room underneath to fill the pot. The whistler is very loud and the long lever makes it easy to flip it up without getting your hand anywhere near the steam. The whistler assembly also looks sturdier than the ones on many other teapots. Finally, it looks great on our stove.

stylish

Tea kettle is beautiful and stylish. Enamel is shiny and smooth. Good handle placement with nice fitting lid. I did not keep this kettle because of the color. I chose the gray color and it really didn’t pop enough against the colors in my tile. I’ve attached a picture for reference. I thought it would complement the grey in my tile but in my opinion it did not.

True dark turquoise color. Very beautiful. Flat bottom so you can turn the flame up. The handle can get hot enough that you need a towel to hold and pour it, but not a big deal. The whistle is a nice tone and not too loud. Glad I purchased it.

Handling of this styled teakettle is awkward

I replaced a Circulon teakettle that had a spring in the handle to open the spout. I had it for years but it was finally showing its wear. This style requires two movements to hold the handle and open the spout. I find the handle awkward when pouring. Also the lid doesn’t completely seal even though it seems tight so there’s steam not only coming out of the spout but also around the rim of the lid, causing the handle to be wet and too warm for me. The knob on the lid doesn’t seem sturdy and I feel like it won’t stay in place for very long. I really wanted to like this teakettle but I miss my old Circulon and liked it much better.

Whistling teapot

Works well on an induction cooktop. Whistles nicely. Handle allows easy pouring and doesn't get hot. Haven't yet needed cleaning. The lid, however, is attached with only one screw and needs tightening now and again. Perhaps this could be engineered differently?

Like the looks of this kettle. The whistle is quite soft until the water is boiling rapidly, but it does eventually get loud enough.
