Design issue
The kettle does not whistle and the handle gets extremely hot. Very good quality otherwise but will have to return especially at this price point
Excellent Kettle
This is a great kettle. It is very hard to find stainless steel 18/10, which is recommended as the best. I wipe is dry after I use it, and it is as beautiful as the day I took it out of the box. The whistle is a great reminder when the water is boiling.
