I like the electric teapots that you plug and push a button. They even have a measuring guide on the side. I use filtered water. You have to put this one on the stove but it's stainless steel. I prefer not to use plastic with anything with warm food or beverage.

I NEEDED A TEA KETTLE AND WANTED A GOOD ONE THAT WOULD LAST A WHILE AND GET A LOT OF GOOD AND TEAR OUT OF IT SINCE I DRINK TEA A LOT IN THE WINTER MONTHS...USE IT TO BOIL HOT WATER AS WELL. WHEN I SEARCHED FOR WHAT BRAND TO PURCHASE I PURCHASE MR. COFFEE THIS BRAND NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME.
