I was disappointed with this teakettle. It doesn't whistle unless it is filled to the top, the handle gets too hot to touch without a potholder, and it is difficult to fill as the handle does not move.

I ordered the kettle in white, but it arrived Silver, I liked it and decided to keep it.

Shipped quickly and looks great on my stove.

Nozzle Came Off & Discoloration

I had this kettle less than a year (about 8 months) and the nozzle/spout fell off. Therefore, not only was there less protection for my water but there was no more whistling to be had. The inside became discolored. I thought the inside texture change and chalky areas came from the calcium or minerals in the hard water but after a while I also became concerned about some brownish spots. I think the coating or whatever inside had worn off. It was useful for a time.

Please make sure comes with a lid! when the package came I bought 2 and one of them only came with one lid and not the other and i need the other lid! thank you.

I would NEVER recommend this item! I went to boil water Christmas morning and the handle broke and I almost poured boiling water all over myself. That was the worst part. But also a piece of the kettle melted right away and stopped whistling and didn’t close properly. I am very Disappointed and disgusted with what could have happened to me. Very thankful I wasn’t burned.

Great little kettle Works as expected but the pleasant surprise was in the pouring of the water. The cover on the spout is magnetic so it sticks to the handle while pouring! Fun discovery.

This is the worst teapot I have ever ever seen. Not only is extremely cheaply made, but even after washing it in the dishwasher 5 times, the boiled water ( and not even boiled, but at 165F) smelled horribly of strong metal flavor. I consider this teapot to be a toxic disaster that will result in I don't what kind of health problems. I threw this piece of garbage in the trash. But hey if you want to poison your friends/relatives this would be a perfect gift. This product will be a liability disaster and should be recalled NOW
