Poor Packaging

The teakettle is lovely but the packaging isn’t up to par. An expensive item should come in a manufacturers box for storing or gift giving. QVC told me to contact MC and it’s impossible to get a human on the phone at MC. Sent an email but never received a response. Also ordered 3 bowls as gifts and they had no MC boxes either.

This piece is beautiful, whimsical and the price was right on time. It was a gift to my very contemporary styling daughter. However, she was drawn to this piece. MC fits all tastes.

Mackenzie child teakettle

A teapot like no other that is made to decorate wherever you place it & to be used. It goes perfectly with the 3 courtly canisters, dinner plates, matching napkins used as placemats, snow globe, 3 courtly piller candles, single upraised hand with matching taper ....most on dining room table.,,,not teapot or canisters. Small & medium pumpkins on the floor where everyone notices them. I love it all & want to know why Mackenzie Childs was scheduled 11-16 & 11-17 & was apparently canceled, then scheduled twice more & no show. What’s up ? Are they not selling thru QVC anymore? Very strange they don’t have any presentations during the high selling season. Too bad as I just became a collector a couple of months ago plus I bought two red tartan trays.

Makes a Statement

Love this tea kettle. Jewelry for my cook top. Unfortunately I cannot use it because my cooktop is induction. I hope they make their tea kettles induction compatible in the future.

Worst teapot ever

This teapot was so disappointing because I’ve had my eye on it for a while and to find out it’s cheaply made is just astonishing. The lid barely fits on the teapot, it’s so tight that when you try to pull the lid off, the screw holding the crystal piece on top loosens and sounds like it’s only a matter of time before it breaks. In addition to that, as the screw loosens, water gets trapped in the lid… the crystal piece is cheaply made and arrived cracked already. Horrible design and poorly made teapot!
