Perfect size we were looking for but misread and thought mattress came with it. It came in a timely manner and took no time at all to assemble.

Bought first one 2 yrs ago %26 have loved it- glad to have found the frame still available ( original purchase was futon with 8 in coil mattress) I will be ordering another coil mattress. NOTE: 8" mattress makes it nearly impossible to convert it by yourself - it's a 2 man job

The box was barely together, it was held together by some old tape. You could tell this box had gone through some damaged while being handled.

DO NOT BUY

I’ve had this maybe a month now and the wood has splinted off the front in the middle along the bottom, literally nothing touches it and it makes zero sense how it’s even happening. The wood is also splinted all along the inside of the little storage space. I don’t think it’ll make it even a year. It’s noisy and creaks all the time. Total piece of junk!!!!! I wanted the nice look of wood but would of been better off with the metal ones! Don’t waste the extra money!

Wooden futon review

I purchased this futon frame to replace a couch which my cats shredded. It is ideal having wooden sides. Assembly is required. I must note that a metal part of the frame was dented during shipping/handling. While it was a significant dent I was able to hammer it out and the dent is not in a visible area so I did not have to return it. But I am happy with this purchase. Also not that the sides are wood but the futon bed and action is metal.

Beautiful piece of furniture

Beautiful piece of furniture. Unfortunately, i had so much trouble "getting"this piece that it took away from its beauty. It was easy to put together, my daughter did it by herself. The wood looks rich and lusterous. Read the product information though as it does NOT come with the much needed mattress. It needs to be more specific in its advertising so be careful

A lovely addition for the home

Is the first time that I got a futon that wasn't too hard to put together or alone and it looks great I love it nothing was damaged I misplaced a washer but I think it will live but I really love it just got to learn how to open it and close it but I'm not having anybody to spend the night in the day soon so I'm not going to worry about it now but I really love how it looks

It came in a box that was super beat up and left out in the rain when we were gone for the day, tracking didn't tell me it was coming. That's a shipping issue, but I include it as a beware bc this item isn't cheap. Also, the mattress came 4 days after the frame, another FYI. The frame itself is very stiff and impossible for one person to fold/unfold, and the screw holes are wonky so you have to play with assembly. The mattress has a chemical smell to it that lingers. I am giving 3 stars bc somehow it arrived undamaged and the mattress is thicker than a lot of others we looked at. Could be better for the price, but could be a lot worse too. I suspect this is miles better than those cheap metal framed monstrosities.
