I bought this product because I liked its contemporary styling. It’s been installed and am more than happy. It is high style, works beautifully and simply. I’ve also recommended it for use in a new build $3M contemporary home in Berkeley (I am a residential designer).

It is very important that instructions are followed to the T. We had a plumber install it, and had to correct them several times. We also ordered the sealant from the UK. Looks and works great, but if one does not follow instructions, may have leakage issues. That's why they have instructions. Our plumber said they had installed it before but obviously not, or if they had, it is probably leaking behind the wall.

I am not sure if there was an error or if the shower head is not included but the product shot is deceiving as it shows a rain shower head and the item doesn’t come with one.

Love this shower diverter. I purchased this for my bathroom remodel. I wanted a contemporary high end shower and this is jest that. Love the square design and quality. I paired it with a Moen rain shower head and a Koehler handheld and the shower is a welcome daily experience. I love that the diverter governs the water temperature, so I no longer get scolded when someone flushes a toilet, great feature. I love this product.

At first glance the installation looked fairly complicated as it is different than most standard US models I have dealt with. In the exploded view this shower system reveals lots of parts, but after understanding they are all concealed within the faucet just reinforces how much good engineering went into this design.

Elegant external retrofit shower system that I used in a new construction . Installation was easy and everything was manufactured properly. The chrome finish is flawless and durable and cleans to a mirrored finish. The square design is modern and elegant. The SafeStop works well. So far no scalds. The temperature is very consistent throughout the showering process. The seals all were water tight and no leaks anywhere. A definite recommendation for a high end retrofit shower. I am very pleased with the way this got installed. Grohe is one of the best names in plumbing and I was very pleased with this shower set up. It did not come with a shower head, but that allows for me to customize to whatever look I want. The chrome color matches my other bathroom fixtures perfectly as well. I am very pleased with this unique design and I will definitely be installing more Grohe in the future.

Yes this unit cost a lot. But in my opinion that equals a lot of years of service after holding it in my hand. At first I didn't like the fact that you still had to purchase the two shower heads. But now that I've seen the quality up close I'm thinking if it did come with the heads of there choice at a higher price I would have maybe complained I didn't like the hole unit if I didn't like the heads. This way, and yes more money spent. I was free to choose exactly what I want in my particular shower stall and or preferences. Also this unit is very installer friendly and what you spend on the head's you'll save on the install needs and labor. I fell in love with my heat protector valve built with in the valves right from the first use. Looks great too. And I used it in a fiberglass stall too. Who would have thought. And to top it off, it gives you the freedom off only using the wand when you want to, keeping the main direction of the shower right where you want it at all times. Unlike other traditional types that mount to your upper outlet pipe and serve both purposes never pointing exactly as you want. With this type you get it all.

This is a nice shower system, very plain and stylish at the same time. It has a thermostatic valve, a great innovation. It does not come with a shower head or a hand wand, those items must be purchased separately. Installation looks pretty straightforward, but this is sold as retrofit, and it will not cover the large hole of the single mixing valve that is in most showers. I think this item is best for new installs or complete refurbs, not retrofitting into an existing shower. Grohe products are of exceptional quality, and this is no exception. Very nice.

We are very happy with our shower system. My contractor had no problem to install it and it looks super sleek and modern and easy to use Happy happy !
