Not Quite Room Darkening

These curtains look fantastic. They were sold as "room darkening" but the white ones, at least, are not, even when both the existing window blinds and these curtains are closed. I wasn't looking for blackout curtains, so knew the light would show through but these don't seem to be any more room darkening than ordinary white curtains with white lining. Still love them and have purchased more for another room.

NOT true “Black Out” Curtains.

The Kohl’s website states these are “black out” curtains. They arrived and the packing also claimed these are “black out” curtains.

Winter White

They are just as described. I put them in the dryer on warm to remove wrinkles. This worked better than washing them as instructed. Descriptions are accurate about being black-out and depiction of Winter White color.

Beautiful curtains!

I loved these drapes but unfortunately they did not match my comforter. I had to return them. These are well made and look very nice hung. Good quality

When it’s too cheap to believe, don’t believe

I Purchased drapes (two packages, a total of four panels) for surprisingly cheap amount of money. I should’ve known there be something wrong with them. Specifically, they were well beyond 84 inches in length. Like 2 feet beyond. Since I don’t sew, and alterations would’ve cost a lot, I ended up giving them away. I don’t know why I believe things from this website will actually be decent.

Great curtains. The material is nice and thick with a textured effect. The curtains hang nicely and look more expensive than they are. The only downfall was the curtains needed to ironed before hanging. I tried throwing them in the dryer to get rid of the wrinkles, but that did not work.

Awesome curtains!

These curtains are gorgeous! The fabric and the color are great. They give a nice accent to my living room while they filter the sunlight shining from the south facing window without making the room dark and unpleasant. Please note: these are not a blackout curtains but only light filtering. My only complaint is that the fabric is difficult to iron with my handheld steamer and it pretty much remained wrinkled. I may try ironing it with a regular iron. Anyway, the curtains are great and I am super happy to have them. They are just what I was looking for from a fabric and color.

Nice quality !

They do the job handsomely ! - blackout AND stop the drafts from older windows ! You feel the temperature difference before that bedroom was like opening the refrigerator door. Now it's comfortable AND she loves the way they look which is a big plus from a fussy woman. LOL !

Not as wxpected

The color of these was a lot darker than the original picture from the website. Went with them anyway until I started sneezing and itching and found that I am allergic to whatever is on these. It also bothered my husband and daughter.

Good value for the price

Bought these curtains because they were blackout. They aren’t full blackout curtains but they do diffuse the light. Still, they’re heavy and I like the subtle weave of the fabric. The below picture was taken middle of the day on an over cast day.

Classic Look! Unbelievable Price!

These curtains are absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy I bought them! I have plantation shutters up at all my windows & said I'd never put curtains with them but they just needed a little more "look" to them! These are perfect weight, color & material! You will not be disappointed!!

I have starched and ironed these curtain several times so I'm disappointed that they look shabby. I have paired them with some navy blue, genuine blackout curtains from costco, and I like the result. Still, be prepared to return them.

[Rewarded Review] Great panel set for the price!

This is my fifth set of these curtain panels and I just love them. They are not easy to get the folds out of though. I washed and dried them as well as steamed them to no avail. It looks like an iron is in order now. These are not blackout curtains. At best I would say they are room darkening.

Good value

These are a good value. Sure, they’re not perfect, but for as cheap as they were I’d have been an idiot to expect them to be. You gotta pay for perfection and I’m not willing to pay for perfect curtains. So, if you don’t mind that they’re not all the exact same length or not all cut perfectly straight then these are the curtains for you. The color is exactly as shown, they are definitely room darkening and they look pretty nice. I’m happy with them and definitely recommend them....as long as you’re not expecting perfection!

Nice curtains for the price. However they are about 1 inch short. I will try putting small weights in the hem to see if this helps. I would buy again as I will most likely use them in my master bedroom instead of family room. The grommets and upper part of the curtains look great . I think the measurements are not exact due to the grommet taking an inch or so. They are a good buy because they are lined . Packaging was great and they arrived early. They go well with my farm house /coastal look.

Do not purchase

Unfortunately, I'm so disappointed. Not at all what I was expecting and they charge $17.73 for a shipping label to return them. This will discourage me from purchasing from Overstock in the future. The bottoms flare out, they don't hang anything like the picture, the wrinkles won't come out and they have a few brown spots on them. Not at all what I was looking for. Returning them and wasting almost $20.
