Not Quite Room Darkening

These curtains look fantastic. They were sold as "room darkening" but the white ones, at least, are not, even when both the existing window blinds and these curtains are closed. I wasn't looking for blackout curtains, so knew the light would show through but these don't seem to be any more room darkening than ordinary white curtains with white lining. Still love them and have purchased more for another room.

When it’s too cheap to believe, don’t believe

I Purchased drapes (two packages, a total of four panels) for surprisingly cheap amount of money. I should’ve known there be something wrong with them. Specifically, they were well beyond 84 inches in length. Like 2 feet beyond. Since I don’t sew, and alterations would’ve cost a lot, I ended up giving them away. I don’t know why I believe things from this website will actually be decent.

Great curtains. The material is nice and thick with a textured effect. The curtains hang nicely and look more expensive than they are. The only downfall was the curtains needed to ironed before hanging. I tried throwing them in the dryer to get rid of the wrinkles, but that did not work.

Awesome curtains!

These curtains are gorgeous! The fabric and the color are great. They give a nice accent to my living room while they filter the sunlight shining from the south facing window without making the room dark and unpleasant. Please note: these are not a blackout curtains but only light filtering. My only complaint is that the fabric is difficult to iron with my handheld steamer and it pretty much remained wrinkled. I may try ironing it with a regular iron. Anyway, the curtains are great and I am super happy to have them. They are just what I was looking for from a fabric and color.

Nice quality !

They do the job handsomely ! - blackout AND stop the drafts from older windows ! You feel the temperature difference before that bedroom was like opening the refrigerator door. Now it's comfortable AND she loves the way they look which is a big plus from a fussy woman. LOL !

Not as wxpected

The color of these was a lot darker than the original picture from the website. Went with them anyway until I started sneezing and itching and found that I am allergic to whatever is on these. It also bothered my husband and daughter.

Good value for the price

Bought these curtains because they were blackout. They aren’t full blackout curtains but they do diffuse the light. Still, they’re heavy and I like the subtle weave of the fabric. The below picture was taken middle of the day on an over cast day.

Classic Look! Unbelievable Price!

These curtains are absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy I bought them! I have plantation shutters up at all my windows & said I'd never put curtains with them but they just needed a little more "look" to them! These are perfect weight, color & material! You will not be disappointed!!

Not so blackout!

I like these curtains but I don't know that I would buy them again. The white is not exactly black-out, Plus the folds won't iron out. I have starched and ironed these curtain several times so I'm disappointed that they look shabby. I have paired them with some navy blue, genuine blackout curtains from costco, and I like the result. Still, be prepared to return them.

Good value

These are a good value. Sure, they’re not perfect, but for as cheap as they were I’d have been an idiot to expect them to be. You gotta pay for perfection and I’m not willing to pay for perfect curtains. So, if you don’t mind that they’re not all the exact same length or not all cut perfectly straight then these are the curtains for you. The color is exactly as shown, they are definitely room darkening and they look pretty nice. I’m happy with them and definitely recommend them....as long as you’re not expecting perfection!

Pretty for the money - White Curtains 108 inch

Nice curtains for the price. However they are about 1 inch short. I will try putting small weights in the hem to see if this helps. I would buy again as I will most likely use them in my master bedroom instead of family room. The grommets and upper part of the curtains look great . I think the measurements are not exact due to the grommet taking an inch or so. They are a good buy because they are lined . Packaging was great and they arrived early. They go well with my farm house /coastal look.

Beautiful! Nice quality.

I bought these two pairs of these curtains for my daughter's room. They are thick, high quality curtains. I did steam them after hanging so now they look just like the picture on the website. Her window faces east so the blackout piece was important. She has black out blinds so these curtaina keep the light from creeping in on the sides. Very happy with my purchase.

Do not purchase

Unfortunately, I'm so disappointed. Not at all what I was expecting and they charge $17.73 for a shipping label to return them. This will discourage me from purchasing from Overstock in the future. The bottoms flare out, they don't hang anything like the picture, the wrinkles won't come out and they have a few brown spots on them. Not at all what I was looking for. Returning them and wasting almost $20.

Not super impressed

I'm not super impressed with these curtains. I ordered the color "Natural," however, when they arrived, they appear to be more Gold with sheen finish, not at all what I was expecting. But now I am stuck with them on 3 windows in the Great Room. Also, the other issue is the bottoms of the curtains flare out, no matter how much I iron them. I tried to upload a photo several times, but the Overstock website is not cooperating.

First off, let me say that this is the first time I have not been pleased with an item I've ordered from target.com. I was excited to receive these curtains for my guest bedroom. I opened them and was pleased with the thickness and texture of the curtains. However, as I started to unfold them, I saw that the grommets were rusted. Not only were they rusted but the rust had also stained the white curtains. It's obvious that there was not any sort of quality inspection done prior to the curtains being boxed up and sent to me. I am returning them as soon as I can get to the store to do so. I'm hoping to find a replacement item soon!

VESTA Linen Pair - Grommet-Woven

Good price for a PAIR of curtains not just single panel pricing. Purchased these for an office WITHOUT windows as a cover for overstocked shelves. Work well so far. Hang a little uneven but they serve the purpose, will need to hem since they are a bit longer than I what I had been looking for [odd length needed; others are too short] Color is good, very neutral would work well in any setting. Do not need the blackout feature but they do seem a little thin for a traditional blackout curtain. Purchased as an added bonus thinking a blackout would be a slightly thicker material.

My husband and I love these curtains. They look very expensive. We bought the black pearl which is a medium grey. They have a linen look. They look good on thick or thinner curtain rods. We live in Florida where the sun is brutal and these do a great job of blocking the sun. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they are not machine washable. I am planning to buy again for another bedroom.

Poor Quality Fabric

Very poor quality fabric with an open weave which snags extremely easily. It came shipped with snags and holes in it already and when I tried to just remove the curtains from the packaging they snagged several times on the hanger they came on. The natural linen color was nice but the fabric had a fake shiny look to it. They appear to block some light but I never hung them so can't comment on how they drape. I would not recommend due to the poor quality and condition of the fabric.

These are pretty but not blackout by any stretch of the imagination. To note, I purchased them in wrong size, hung them, and realized I would've returned them regardless. It is a true white - and pretty but where I wanted to place it sun would shine through effecting the overall look of the room and subsequently the curtains. The grommet is nice and a great detail. Well hemmed. Quality and do come nicely on hangers to minimize wrinkling. Overall if you are hanging in area with dim lighting, these are perfect.

Great Quality & Price Not Blackout

These drapes are beautiful quality especially for the price. The texture and slight sheen are very pretty. They are heavy enough to hang well. Beautifully lined, but THEY DO NOT BLOCK ALL LIGHT. They do darken the room with some light filtering through. Just shat I like. Darker colors may block more light. I purchased the winter color and it is bright white. Would definitely recommend to other definitely recommend these drapes.
