Poor Quality

The bonded leather starts separating in just a few weeks and the arms do not stay tightened. The chair itself leans to one side and that started shortly after purchase and has progressed to the point it is causing hip pain to sit in it. Thinking it is covered by a ten year warranty I requested repair/replacement and I was told the only thing covered by the warranty is the mechanics, not the upholstery. What a let down considering how much we paid for this chair. The ten year warranty is very misleading.

Bonded leather

This is made of bonded leather, which usually peels off after a few years. It is not made to last very long. Was expecting higher quality for a brand like La-Z-Boy.

Was excited to get the chair, loved the extra gel cushioning and the active lumbar. Arm screw holes that fastened to top cushion were stripped and would not hold arms tight. The customer service number responders they would send new cushion. Several weeks later bonded leather sides on seat cushion began to rip on each side, and within a few weeks, both sides were torn more than 6” each. Then the gas lock on center frame fell down and would not stay up. I finally took chair back. I weigh less than 350 lbs; weight should not have been a problem. Will not buy anything Lazy Boy anymore.

Good but not great

The dynamic lumbar support is NOT adjustable by the user! This is probably the chairs greatest weakness. It was also very difficult to assemble even with two people. It is a fairly comfortable chair but I would value it at about 2/3 of the price.

This Chair Not Recommended

Screw holes for fastening arms already stripped out when I received chair. At two months, I noticed under cushion in seat was badly ripped out on both sides. Wood frame pushed up through padding and easily went through the very thin Naugahyde top of cushions. Chair is rated for 400 lbs. I weigh a little over 300 lbs. Have only used chair maybe a couple of dozen times. Arms are so wobbly, I cannot trust them for any support. Lazy Boy service will not work on them. Definitely not worthy of Lazy Boy name, and not commercial quality. Don’t waste your money.

Cushions comfy, but chair features not worth price

Definitely, this one of the most comfortably padded chairs I’ve ever come across. But there are some major issues with the rest of the chair that caused me to return it!

Comfortable

Four major and unusual screws were missing, so we were quite frustrated. That’s inexcusable for this expensive item. That being said, it’s exactly what we wanted in a chair.
