Works well. Put it on the back of my door to hold my backpack. The 5lb held before but I was always concerned it would break on me. No such concerns with this one.

These hangers are simple to attach and use, but are able to support a good bit of weight. I use one to hold up my grocery basket and one for my step stool. This clears floor space for other use and keeps everything nice and tidy. Highly recommended.

Fantastic for backpacks
Purchased this double pack for my son’s backpack and my diaper bag. My diaper bag is on the heavy side and the regular hooks did not hold well against my wood nightstand. This particular one is excellent for back packs and needing to install on wood furniture. I also used paint plus primer Rustoleum matte black spray paint to spray the hook to match my room hardware. I used 2 coats of clear coat and the paint has adhered nicely to this plastic hook. Would purchase again
