This was disappointing. We bought a shower pan that came with a drain but lost the drain. When we attempted to research and buy a replacement, this is the one that was recommended on the website and even the Pro-Desk professional indicated it was what we should buy. We had to special order and wait more than a week for it to arrive. Turns out it was not the right part at all. Home Depot doesnt' sell the correct part. Fortunately we were able to contact the manufacturer directly and they are sending the part. Warning - don't take "often purchased with" suggestions too literally.

Looks like a high quality drain. The problem is I bought it at the same time I bought an acrylic shower pan and it is the wrong drain assembly for my purchase.

It was the incorrect drain, so I can't recommend it as it won't be used. We purchased a shower pan and this drain is for a shower that will be built and tiled. The person we worked with at the store knew about as much as we did !!
