Great floor drain

This product was the only one I could find for my specific application. Second floor utility closet with only subfloor. The builder installed drain was 3/8 of an inch proud of the the floor and provided zero chance if there was a failure in the water heater collection pan or any other unplanned water discharge. I was able to seal the floor with minimal VCT. It can be adjusted for height and has a very wide stainless steel mounting ring suitable for surface mount or attached under the subfloor if needed.
